the best way to say this is, what a Great surprise i got when i arrived, the most welcoming staff of any hostel that I've stay at, place is beautiful and location is excellent, safe neighborhood 5 min away walking distance from Corcovado train entrance. first thing i notice was the cleanliness and how well organized it was, i also notice the security system they only have one entrance (key required) and about 9 security cameras working all day. rooms were well ventilated and bathrooms were new!

This is by far one of the best hostels I have been staying so far! It is clean, spacious, with friendly and helpful staff (especially Lucas) cool people. The facilities are perfect, the bathrooms and the kitchen clean, not a single thing i could complain about. On top of that the Kitchen is fully equipped, in perfect condition and can be used by the guests, too! The only downside maybe, it is unfortunately not in walking distance to a metro station, so a bus ride is necessary. All in all: TOP!

There are too many cats, they even go inside the rooms. Besides they charge for everything, for leaving the bags, for the blanckets.

We stayed at the hostel for five nights on January 2013. The hostel was very clean and Myle, the woman in charge, and the rest of the staff were extremley nice and helpful. The hostel is located right under mountain Corcovado which places it in a beautiful enviroment and provides spectecular view. The area is not very touristic so you'll get a lot of quiet. It requiers a bus to get to the beaches and other famous areas. Also, to get to the hostel you'll have to go up in a pretty steep road.

This is a very well run small hostel with lots of love and personality put into it. It is centrally located, close to the city centre and with easy access to the main touristic attractions(it is just beside the train station that brings you to Corcovado). You don't feel at all that you're in a big city like Rio. it is located in a very quiet, safe and cute neighborhood.

An excellent place to stay. The rooms are very nice and have great views. the photos on hostelworld really dont do them justice! Its a up-market pousada at a hostel price. fantastic location thats easy to take buses or taxis to all the usual places. Very friendy and helpful owners. Ill be staying there again!

I can't say how much we loved staying here! Walter & Myle were the most amazing people! We've traveled all over the world and this was without a doubt the nicest hostel(if you can call it that, it felt more like a really nice vacation home with friends), and without a doubt the coolest and nicest owners, too! We went out for drinks with them and they introduced us to some of their friends.....isn't that totally unheard of? I wish I could hug them again....loved them soooo much! STAY HERE!

They were awesome. Both owners Myle and Walter were really nice people, helped us in everything we need! I'll come back several times, for sure!
