Situated right next to the Blue Mosque area, this hostel provided everything anyone would need. The staff were marvelous, knowledged and most of all very friendly. Breakfast buffet was first class and the lounge, together with the close proximatey to most of the tourist attractions - I rate this a great place to stay. Recommended highly.

They have one key per room, meaning security isnt as tight for your bag as i would like. Wifi is good, they do airport shuttles which is great, helpful staff, great location.

Enjoyed our sty, stay were very friendly and great location opposite the grand bazaar. No breakfast included and no wifi in rooms other than that a good hostel. We had a 4 person private room, this was ok because we knew all the occupants, think the room would have been too small if you didn't know the people in the room.

Good hostel. Rooms a little dated. Stayed in a several bed dorm and there was only one key between us all. I didn't find it a problem but the door will always need to be open when someone has the key. Just feels less secure. This paired with no lockers in the room meant i had to carry my valuables everywhere i went. The communal area is brilliant and staff very helpful.

Great Hostel: clean, near to all sights, capable staff and good beds. The only problem was that there is only one key for each room. During my stay i had to ask the staff a half dozen times to open the door for me because someone closed the room from inside or left the hostel without giving back the keys.

Excellent location. That is the only good thing i can say about this hostel. horrible dorm room, old and uncomfortable bunk beds, thin blanket, room was very cold at night, woke up multiple times freezing. No lockers in room. 1 key for the entire dorm room, locked out twice. Door remained unlocked at night in case people came into the room late at night, not good security. Bathrooms dirty and very dim, felt dingy. Breakfast not worth the cost. Unfriendly staff at front desk. Will not recommend.

Nice and cheap and great location. Weird combo of hotel/hostel though. Suited my needs for the week just fine.

Cordial House is an excellent and inexpensive family base while in Istanbul. The staff are extremely friendly and the family room was well laid out and suited our needs. Breakfasts were lovely and great value and the wi-fi was free of charge. The dining room had a friendly hostel atmo Cordial House is walking distance from many major attractions. Would certainly stay there again.

Great location. Warm, secure, free wifi. More like a hotel then a hostel. Very small and unequipped kitchen but has a fridge. Good value for money if your looking for a cheap stay in Istanbul.
