We didn't get any information at the arrival. Didn't knew that there was a tourist information, kitchen or a chill room or breakfast untill our last day at the hostel. Closing our rooms door wasn't easy and they didn't explained it. We ordered and paid for a private room with one double bed en got 2 single beds. the ladies bathroom was very very dirty!
Great location. Good breakfast but extra money. No ac in the rooms and it is very hot! Bathrooms need a deep cleaning. Staff is friendly but do not always speak English so it was hard to pay for a while.

The dorms do not have lockers neither key. I Was in the 10 people dorm and it does not have AC, just one fan that can not be regulated. The hotel is very clean and very well situated near the Blue Mosk and grand bazaar
The hostel is in the very city centre and close to many landmarks and key locations. There were shops and cafes around. I got to the hostel very easily from airport thanks to the Cordial's direction description. And the hostel just 2 min away from the tram stop. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Now about drawbacks: it was way too hot in the room as the air circulation was zero and we had only ceiling fan. There were not enough sockets, only one for 6 ppl.
Location was great - just up the road from Blue Mosque. Facilities were also good and beds were very comfortable. Downside is the hostel's atmosphere. Not really a place to meet other people (more like a hotel really). We also stayed in an 8 bed dorm with only one key between us. Not ideal when people are always coming and going at different times.
I got a locker for free, even though they told me I had to pay which was nice. The hostel is centrally located and right next to two supermarkets. Good place in Sultanahmed, and very good price!
The sytem with one key for a room with 10 persons does not work. A big hostel like this one should have an electronic card system. The kithchen for quests is small and does not have cups, spoons etc.The fridge is too small.

My misfortune was staying during the visit of a HUGE group of shrieking girls from Holland. One roomful on the same floor I was on were up all night carousing in the halls with NO regard for other guests/paying customers/staff. I may have called them "self-centered effing bitches" at 3 a.m. one night, which of course did not help. Only drugs and earplugs helped the immediate problem. I should have requested a room change immediately. Their behavior was appalling and unfairly created ill-will.
Staff was excellent. Location was perfect. Washrooms not the best. Some shower stalls had one working knob, not both for hot and cold. Shower head kept in hand, couldn't keep it attached to the wall. Minor things like this could be easily fixed by management. Must pay to rent a towel. Overall it was good because of the staff. Facilities need maintenance. Overall I'd recommend this hostel.
The location is perfect, but they have to improve the showers and try to put locker inside the rooms. Besides that, the hall is really nice, with some birds, a nice bar.
The location is very convenient. Worth every penny the guest pays
Generally good hostel. Walking distance from major Sultanhamet attractions. One problem was that I booked a room with a double bed for two people and was instead given a room with 3 single beds for the same price. Not sure whether that's a problem from Hostelworld or the hostel itself.
Great staff courteous friendly and helpful. Great spot close to everything. Clean rooms and quiet
Cordial House is easy to find. Very close to Blue Mosque, Ayasofia, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar, and tram station Cemberitas. But no noise to disturb your sleep at night. The room is clean and warm. The staff is ok. The birds at the reception are cute :) Overall, we like everything there. But it would be nice if we could use wifi in the room, not only at the reception area.
Great hostel; staff is friendly; hostel is clean and has a great hangout area downstairs [only there the WLAN works! / birds and a parrot (sadly a too small cage) are entertaining the guests ;-)]; PERFECT location for first visit of Istanbul, minutes walk from major attractions; Kitchen could have been better; even at times of snow chaos at mid-february heating worked well and we had a lot of blankets (private room!)
It's a really good hostel, actually it looks like more a hotel than a hostel, cause it was a huge place and everything were cleaned and organized. The staff were good, but they could do a better job, being a little bit more kind, happy or attentive.
In February it is cold in Instanbul. The heating is not so good and although it was at the maximum, you still feel cold inside. There was only one blanket available per person and although there was down fitted sheet, there was not flat sheet, so you cover yourself directly with the blanket. There should be a flat sheet. The facilities are clean but not so well renovated. There are not lockers in the room. However they offer to lock the important things at the reception.
I highly appreciate the location , other part is you get what you pay
