Good location in center of historic part of Istanbul offers 4 floors of very different number of people rooms. I stayed in the cheapest 10-dorm mixed room. There is only one electric power source in the room by the door. Bed linen was nice and clean. Lockers are big enough to put your laptop in but not more. Not very good security for bigger bags if you stay in common room. Next time I would definitely add some money for better comfort. Overall very good value for money.

Nice central location, easy to find and close to public transport. Most things are within easy walking distanse. Staff where friendly and helpful. Dorm rooms where okay, no personal lockers. Plenty of places nearby to eat out in.

Cordial, Cordial... not really Cordial :/

Cheap hostel with a couple of flaws here and there, but what can you expect. The biggest plus is the location, which is within walking distance to the main attractions. It was a little dirty in the bathrooms, but nothing too bad. The kitchen is tiny, but at least there is a kitchen at all. The staff are lukewarm and the atmosphere is cold, but there is a bar in the common areas, which is a bonus. I can recommended this hostel for travellers on a very low budget.

Good location with average facilities. Staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly and the common room has no atmosphere. Not a great place to meet people but otherwise ok for the price.

In summer the shared rooms are hot. But it is a nice place and well located.

This is a great place to say if you enjoying wondering aimlessly around in Istanbul's summer heat trying to decipher the riddle they have posted for directions. Upon arriving you will (possibly) be greeted by the staff who will offer you the opportunity to wait 20 min before checking in to your room which will have neither a secure lock to the balcony or an outlet. Other than that I couldn't find many reasons to recommend this hostel to others.

Staff were most unhelpful when asking for information on anything. The dorm rooms each only had one key so they were left open all the time.

The hostel staff were lovely and when I stuffed up my booking they were very kind and accomodating. They did not give me a key to my room and the luggage storage room did not lock up. Showers were average. The hostel is close to Grand Bazaar and all the major tourist attractions. All in all I would say the hostel is good value for money.

It is a very good and family oriented place. I found new friends there and I will come back.

I had a lovely stay at this hostel – staff were very welcoming, Very clean and peaceful.

The hostel is clean and tidy. It's comfortable. The only thing is the wifi access is only available at the ground floor. But it is nice as a whole.

I really think it was nice staying at Cordial. Nice with the large common area. I don't really have any particularly negatiive to say thinking about the price of a dorm room bed. With the price in mind I can only suggest this hostel. However you have to bear in mind that you're buying a palace bud a bed to sleep in. :-)

Location and price are the only good things about this hostel. But you get what you pay for. And at this hostel they make you pay extra for everything: lockers, computers, breakfast, ping pong, etc. There's only one key for each dorm so it's not secure at all. The common area is uncomfortable wooden benches, there's no atmosphere. No AC, or fans. The street outside is noisy. The bathroom light shuts off every 2 min.

The place seems safe, judging by the people that stay there, but the rooms lacked individual lockers, and you had to paid for using the lockers at the reception. Weird. Also, just one key for a room of 10 people that doesn't even know each other is also a fault. But in general, it was a very good value for money, as the place is awesomely located and it has good facilities, spatious rooms and lobby and a gigantic dining area. The staff could be more well trained and speak a better english.

The employees of the Cordial House Hotel, are very positieve to their guests! They are very nice and helpful, also in all my travel questions! The breakfast buffet was good,if you look at choice out there, you pay 10 TlRL The hotel is close to all the highlights of the city .At the Ataturk airport there are ATM. From theAtaturk Airport you can use the metro/tram to the tramstop .. Cemberlitas ony150m from the hotel. For metro, trarm, boot, you can buy the ...Istanbulkart..Easy and cheaper.

Staffs are super helpful and nice! They have a luggage storage room for checked out guests who still want to sightsee for the day. However, there is no individual lockers, only a open access room for all guests. But other than that, this hostel is a great pick! It's super close to Ayasofya, blue mosque and the grand bazaar. There is a metro station nearby on the way to Ayasofya, so it's easy to get around. Highly recommend this place for backpacker or just looking for a place to stay in Istanbu.
