very friendly. Great water pressure and hot water. The air conditioner does work and the room was very comfortable to sleep. I wished that the kitchen opened a little earlier than 0800. (leaving 0630 for Petra) However, there is a great bakery across the street that is open 24/7 and coffee/tea available at the store beside the bakery. Appreciated the free WIFI accessible from our room

Arty type of place. Staff gave helpful advice about beaches and crossing the border. Everyone in the lounge was plugged into their laptops.

It was a great location. I wish there had been individual lockers though, and if we each got a key. Other than that it was a nice place!

Owner Comment (Show)
When you brought the police to our hostel - the officer asked you what the probem was. You told him that you paid money - and you were going to do whatever you wanted. The problem was that you wanted to play very loud music in our reception, and we wouldn't allow it. You were given back your money and asked to leave. I'm sure that you ignored the fact that your bicycle was watched for you, that you used our kitchen all day, drank lots of free coffee and tea, and had a good nights sleep. If I had to rate you, I would give you a big fat zero!

Erik from Stutgart, i am sorry i did not say goodbuy to you, hope rest of your travel was nice. I would like to have your contacts. Yosef. Хороший недорогой хостел - близко к автовокзалу и супермаркету, удобная кухня. Есть особенность - хозяин заведения, который находится там с утра до вечера. Держится со всеми на короткой ноге - будьте гот

I had a really bad experience in this hostel, like a nightmare. I was travelling with my mum and a friend of mine a couple of days ago, and at night my mum got sick because of the aircondition. It was so noisy and cold, so I asked the stuff (David) if we can change a bit the temperature, or if he can help us and he was so rude that I was shocked. He told us, that we can leave the hostel and he will call the police if we dont go back to the room. We just run away from that hostel.....

Because Hostelworld.com asked for specific hour of check in we arrived early morning at 5 pm. There was no possibility to check in before noon. The staff member who received us was extremly rude and didn't even try to help us in any way. He didn't even give us a map to find our way in the city during the night. After we could check in to our room we found a used tampon in the toilet and when we complained another person at the reception said we should remove it by our hands.

This place was fine, though not amazing. Had a private double room - it was clean and nice enough, but small and the bathroom was hard to use without completely flooding. Staff were a mixed bag - some extremely helpful, others less helpful. Overall, a decent place to stay if you're in Eilat, but not worth going out of your way for.

I wasn't expecting a TV in my room or my favorite news channel (Fox news) so needless to say I was thrilled with the accommodations. I will definitely stay there again. And I will recommend this hostel to my friends.

Good and very cheap place with several small issues: - Couldn't pay with a card, cash only; - A lock on our room worked not very perfectly - it took several minutes to open/close the door; - We felt a strange smell once.

Ok place with cool lobby area. Good Falafel place around the corner. Hostel location is not that bad....about 10-15mins walk to the "beach". Hostel is fairly clean.....as for the Eilat, the city really sucks (and so does the beach)

Absolutely beautiful and romantic place, the owner is artist and all the lovely dreamland decorations were his own creation. Shower and toilet very good,TV with many English channels. The single rooms are a bit small as well as the bed.Downtown shops in 1 min walking distance, cheap restaurants close by.10 mins walk to the poular beach, about 20 to 30 mins to the better beaches near the luxury hotels.Egged busses allow you easy day trips to Massada,En Gedi and Mitzpe Ramon (crater),desert fantastic
