We two girls booked a double bed room. The hostel owner is very helpful and friendly, he gave us recommendation of nearby place visit, even provide a hand drawn map to the backpackers! However, the double bed and pillows are too soft for us, our back are so painful and tired after sleeping. As the room is on the 4th floor without lift, I recommend not to bring heavy luggage, although the owner is so helpful to help us carry the luggage up, but you have carry it down.

It took a little while to locate the hostel...however it's convenient to go around with couch service nearby. The boss's a really nice guy! He introduced nice places in Taizhong and hand-drawn map to go around. Met cool guys there!

Worst hostel experience ever. The facilities are extremely poor; it looks ,like a squat... The shower looks disgusting. Also there is no front desk so no staff staying at the hostel, the person just comes when you check in and then leaves forever.... The price being very cheap, you have the exact value for your money but I would recommend to spend a bit more and say at a decent hostel.

Their house was quite near the bus station and seven-eleven shop, we can easily realise the way to find out the Corner Backpacker. We had booked the 6-bed room for female, which was covered about 30sqms and a shared bath room next to it. In general, the place was safe, warm and clean. What I want to commended is their enthusiasm, the staff called Jian Ting who was kind to tell you everything around with their hand-drawn map. All in all, we will choose them again for next time.

The hostel was great for the price, and well located. The host was really really nice, gave us a map with clear indications of the surrounding sightseeing spots, surrounding hangouts and good restaurant, and spoke perfect English. The hostel was clean and quiet. It is within walking distance of the city centre, night markets and museum and a short cab ride from good restaurants and clubs.

It was a nice stay here. First time we arrived to the hostel the owner gave us some recommanded places and explained the way to get there, so we got enough useful information bout taichung city and thanks to that we were able to enjoy our trip there. The place is bout 10 minutes by bus from taichung railway station and you can use easy card (rechargeable smart card used at taipei) without being charged!!! The lobby are so small but the shower room are quite big. Quite clean.
