good place to stay in...also that i think its very comfortable to sleep where all the other guys were waking after 10am!

The hostel is tastefully decorated and comfortable. It is also easy to get around to places in Taichung from the hostel by bus. Jessie was a great host and very helpful to point out the good food and attractions (Science Museum) nearby. If you are looking for shopping or night markets, the hostel is not near any.The dorm room is clean, though the bunk bed is a little shaky. It would be good to have reading lamp for each bed. Jessie, the owner of Corner Backpacker, went above and beyond any of my expectations. She opened this hostel with a focus on meeting fellow backpackers and showing them the best Taichung has to offer. And in my opinion she has completely succeded in fulfilling this goal. This little hostel has a giant heart and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to get to know Taichung better.Jessie, the owner of Corner Backpacker, went above and beyond any of my expectations. Stayed for one night with a friend. Jessie, the hostess, was very sweet and was able to answer all our questions, even showed us particular places to check out around certain locations.
