Absolutely loved our stay here, didn't know what to expect as it was soooo cheap but it is perfect. Staff are really helpful and accommodating. STAY HERE

Probably one of the cheapest and best places i Cairns! The meal included is in one of the best places in town and what I also liked about this place was the staff! Probably the nicest hostel staff I've ever met, they are great!

A really nice quiet hostel, which is perfect if you just need a place to sleep, but not great if you wanted to meet people. The staff are really nice and friendly, it is very clean and it is right in the middle of town so all it all it is a wonderful place!

I could NOT sit on my bed. That was very uncomfortable.

clean, with all facilities. helpfull and nice staff. very good location 5minutes to the lagoon. No animation but offers for the nightlife.. Free meal at night. bad points : no A/C, and check in hours a bit short

The staff was great and very helpfull with informatioan and booking of trips. The facillities would be better with airconditions on the rooms and free WIFI. (The free WIFI is in generald an improvement in whole Australia, it should be free).

Staff are nice, lovely, and funny! The location is just in the middle of everything where we could go shopping, dining, and even to the reef terminal or seaplane riding by foot. Very worth price of staying. Anyway, their front desk opens only specific time so you need to check and must contact them before if you plan to arrive other than those periods.

the staff is awesome!! it's a good bassic hostel! verry nice and coosie chill area on the stairs! always fun! I still have a great time there! good internet facilities in the kitchen till 9.30 pm

as a first experience in a hostel I have to say that I found very well .. on my arrival I was greeted with kindness and professionalism by staff, which showed and accompanied me to my, I must say, clean and comfortable room .. I only spent one night in Corona backpackers, but within itself the atmosphere that reigns between staff and clientele is friendly and jovial and services are good value for money it is really excellent! if I recommend it? yes absolutely!!!!

No Air-Con, pretty hot and humid at night. Short reception hours, only kitchen available to socialize. Free meal is crap, as expected :)

The reception was very nice and helpful, the rooms were nice except that the fridge was way too small for 4 people and you could not sit in the beds as they were too low. But altogether it was very nice.

Corona backpackers was great! For just 14 dollar it is extremely cheap for what you get. You get a 4-bedroom with your own fridge and fan. Corona backpackers is located in the center of Cairns. Its less than 5 minutes walking to either the supermarket or the shopping mall. The staff is really nice and it is very clean! Angelo for the win!

Showers could use upgrade from mixed to private! Good hostel with friendly staff..especially Angelo..what a laid back guy! Nothing too much trouble. Office could be open longer hours. Good discount on trips. Would stay again with no hesitation. Recommended..by me at least!!

Needs air conditioning!
