Really good hostel and well priced! Appreciated how the location was just outside of the metro so it was very easy to get around

10 minutes walking from the train station, in a major shopping area. People are saying it's unsafe? Guess what... 50 meters down the road there is a POLICE STATION, whenever I walked back to the hotel I always saw a lot of blue police uniforms, it's just that the whole of Athens is "sketchy". Now on to the review... as can be expected of a hotel it's clean and a bit austere, it does lack a bit of atmosphere, but one can sleep peacefully at least. I did like the balcony, it needs plants on it.

I would highly recommend this hostel. It's right next to the Omonia underground stop and although the area isn't wonderful, you can get to all the great parts of Athens quickly and cheaply using the subway. The hostel itself was great inside. We had air conditioning, a balcony, a wet room/shower room, breakfast and 24hr reception. I would highly recommend the Cosmopolit to anyone visiting Athens, especially those on a budget.

The hotel itself is clean and well maintained however the area surrounding is not. The weekend was full of men lingering around the entrance of the hotel. Did not feel safe in the area at night. Close to main metro station and walking distance to some restaurants and stores. Overall hotel was great.

The stuff was very friendly, the breakfast perfect.

Very nice and friendly staff, good for budget travellers. A more substantial breakfast would be nice!

It is located in a part of Athens that is safe and easy to get around to. Staff was nice. Shower curtains were non existent so when you shower water gets all over the bathroom. The air conditioning was awesome. The room was fairly small but perfect for a one or two night stay. Overall a good experience.

very clean, very accessible, they have air conditioner that makes the difference in the hot nights in Athens

We were put in a room on the 5th floor where it was the size of a closet the bunk beds had no edges and wasn't able to push up against the wall so I could fall off either side. Our room couldn't access the WiFi and the toilet was essentially in the shower. It was a 4 bed dorm but only one person could actually be standing in the room at a time it was so small. Included breakfast was a perk, typical continental. Close to the acropolis but not really worth it. Dodgy area can't walk at night.

Terrible area, got a four person dorms on the 5th floor and it was tiny, no where to put your bags but on your bed, terrible value, breakfast wasn't very good

Our first immage of the hotel was, that it is a really strange place in a strange area. Prostitutes around at night, huge mirrors in our room and a porn channel running, when we enetered the room... Anyway. Everything was clean. It was quiet and staff was friendly. At daytime the area is really nice and very central, too.

It's in a good location in terms of practicality because it's about 15 min walking from the center of Athens where the Greek ruins are and the flee market. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were very small and don't have shower curtains so you flood the whole bathroom. It's located in a sketchy area though because there's a strip club next to it so the people hanging around are a bit weird. In general it was an ok experience but I only stayed for 2 days..

Great hotel, If I come back to Athens, I'll take the accommodation at this hotel. It's one minute from Omonia subway station. The rooms are quite good!

Cool Hotel, fair breakfast, near to metro, staff really lovely, wifi is ok, shower is good. They even helped us storing our luggages foyr days after our stay after a cruise ship we did. Very pleasant.

it's near the Omonia where you can buy any things easily but the guide of location is a litte bite unclear: it's not on the right behind of the Hondos Center but it's on the LEFT behind. the stuffs are very very kind, they helped us to save our bagages 3 days after we left their hotel. it includes the breakfast and we have a lot of choice , there is no hot milk so the stuff helped me to make some hot milk. it was really a good experience here. thank you for all their works;)

Feel unsafe and noisy in that area at night.

Everything is good for this hotel! I will choose it again if I go there the next time!

Good hostel but not friendly people in the meeting room. The staff wanted to see something on the television and we couldn't change that.

This hotel is in a very seedy part of town. We had a strip club next door and prostitues around the corner from the building. You can't get a good nights sleep because the rooms weren't sound proofed. We heard a couple of locals bring back prostitues and go for long into the night. It was poor planning on our part.

We had this hotel booked for two months they suddenly canceled our booking leaving s stranded for a night. And to top it off they were extremely due to us.
