Unfriendly and unhelpful staff (reception and bar) which is a shame as asides from this the place is great. Loads of great chill out areas with hammocks, great to meet other travellers and really clean and safe. Would recomend just don't expect a warm welcome. This is a really great place to go either with a group or if you're looking to party. Really geared towards "Spring Breakers" with it's little pool oasis and onsite restaurant. I would highly recommend, especially if you're staying in San Jose for a few days. This is a really great place to go either with a group or if you're looking to party. The city of San Jose is a terrible city so dont waste your time and trip on it. The kitchen was great and the food in the restaurant was fairly priced. Its a good walking distance from an AMPM and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Keep in mind, if you are driving in san Jose they have VERY odd driving laws. for example, we almost got a ticket because we were driving on a tuesday and our licence plate ended in either a 3 or a 4. the rental companies dont tell you this so look it up!The city of San Jose is a terrible city so dont waste your time and trip on it.
