Costa Rica Guesthouse was exactly what we needed: nice comfy bed, clean shared bathroom, clean towels, and shuttle service to the airport (25$). The only thing is that the continental breakfast was not very good- 2 pieces of bread- but it was included in the price of the room. You can also buy breakfast but it was a little expensive for what it was. That said, I would definitely come back here. The best place we stayed in Costa Rica!

Good clean option not to far from the centre. A little noisy but I had a room near the front desk! Very basic breakfast but very helpful staff. Hostel security was good but no lockers in the room.

Most of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There was also a tourism desk right in the loby. The woman who works there was fantastic and helped us plan a nice day seeing the city. I would definately stay here again.

I loved this hostel. Staff was friendly, the room was nice and the shared bathroom was clean. Nice hot water in the shower too. I also liked the public area and the big screen T.V. s public area. As for safety, I felt very secure in this hostel. My only complaint was that the hallway near the upstairs rooms got loud when a big group of new arrivals were talking in the hallways for about 30 minutes after 11:30 p.m. I thought a staff member should have come over to quiet them down.
