I absolutely love the backpacers in San Jose. It´s such a perfect central location with friendly people and a commitment to cleanliness that I turned my one night stay into five nights. after confirming a airport pickup I was not picked up because my plane came in an hour late, i was told. I feel the staff should have called the airport about the arrival time and still picked me up. The double room was small and suffocating, the bed had no real matress plus you could hear what was going on in the whole block (trains,loud music and screams all night long)Despite the dodgy area and the average staff, the place is nice, beautiful garden and free internet,cool for socializing but not for sleeping.
