Nice hostel for a stay in Jodhpur. Warm water and decent rooms. Really nice rooftop view and good food at the rooftop restaurant
very nice hostel, definitely recommend it if you stay in jodhpur.
The pictures shown are not real, when we arrived there we were shocked!!
The hostel itself is fantastic although we had a bit of an unfortunate visit. It was raining very heavily when we stayed and our room had a grate in the ceiling which let a lot of water into the room and also quite a bit came through the ceiling itself and down the walls. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the food is good although half the menu wasnt available. The staff could do with being more helpful though, they failed to book us a tuk tuk and then just didnt tell us about it.
The staff were super unfriendly. There were probably more staff than guests when I was there, but they all were lazy and looked annoyed at us when we asked for anything. The mattresses might also be older than Jodhpur's fort, though the location is great. A little removed from the mayhem, but still close to everything. It does have a sweet view.
Nice place to stay, staff was very helpful.
This is a pretty good hotel. The view from the upstairs restaurant is epic and the best thing about the place. It's in a quiet side alley a few minutes walk from the fort, away from any mayhem but close enough that you don't feel far from anything. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only nit: though I arrived early, the room I booked was full & they charged me to upgrade to the next available room. On principle that upgrade should've been free but it was only USD$5 anyway. Recommended.
This guest house has a breathtaking view of the Fort from the rooftop restaurant. It is a 5 minutes walk to to the Fort, and about 20 minutes into the old town/clock tower. Be prepared for a very steep walk up the house. The rooms were clean and air-conditioning was good. Overall a good stay, we would stay here again if in Jodhpur.
A great hostel in the blue city with an amazing rooftop view. The staff were helpful. The only downside was trying to find it. Its off the main road so you get dropped off there and have to walk up a bit of a hill with lots of twists and turns. Once you've found it once, it's pretty easy and the location in general is fantastic!
nice roof top restaurant with good food and beautiful views of the fort.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cosy Guest House! The room was spotless, the view superb, and the roofdeck is a delight. I highly recommend staying here if you visit the blue city (which you should!).
For the price you can't beat it - hostel was clean and right in the old city. The restaurant was good and had an amazing view, although the 'chef' was also the guy on reception - you just has to go and tell him you were hungry. I was the only guest at the time (bit off season) and I still felt safe and cared for.
