This was a really nice place to stay. The room was neat and big and the hotel was close to the town centre and boat docks. There's a cute roof top and restaurant with good breakfast and great indian paneer for dinner! The staff is extremely attentive, heartfelt and helpful. They were ready to give advice whenever needed and even arranged a private houseboat trip for us for a decent price! Definately recommendable!

My first ever bad review, but this place is NOT good. Our room was dirty, infested by ants, no hot water, and the toilet did not work. Horrible! The owner is nice enough, but constantly tries to make more money out of you. He put us in an AC room (we hadn't booked an AC room), and then asked us to pay extra for it the next day. We also booked a 4 hr boat cruise via him, we only got 3 hrs, and then he lied about what time we started to try to convince us we had had 4 hrs. Try another hostel!
