we noticed that the first floor had a patio asked for a upgrade they were more than helpful the staff was wonderful location was not good at all easy to fing but no place to go within walking distance

They did either mess up the booking or simply did an overbooking, but there was no place for us the first night. The owner "accomodate" us in a single basement room, which is generally used for the staff of the hotel. Besides it had no key lock so we couldn't really leave the room. The day after the room was ok, but we didn't get any refund for the first night and moreover no receipt was given to us. This has one word: tax evasion!
