Farther than I'd thought and read on the main review; the location was particularly unlikable in a big storm, but the Centra next door made things much more convenient. Staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating; they definitely make the place great! Everything was so nice and clean here as well; I was impressed at the cleanliness of the bathrooms and common areas.

Far from anything with no nearby public transit. Clean facilities and most comfortable hostel we stayed in.

Quite a ong way to walk from/to the City Center (Train Station, Castle, Shopping, ...) and there is no supermarket near, only a Petrol Station shop. Apart from that it is a good place to stay - friendly staff, everything was clean.

As outlined above we were very happy with the very helpful and pleasant staff. The security was the best that I have seen and the cleanliness left nothing to be desired, The facilities as in the kitchen and sleeping and bathroom were irreproachable. In other words we found it a great place to stay.

Location is about a 20-30 minute (very boring) walk from the bus station and about the same distance from the centre. Staff didn't seem very interested in the guests. 1 of the showers wasn't working, the other had only cold water. One of the 2 toilets in the hallway stopped working during our stay as well. Room and other facilities were alright. Wouldn't recommend staying here though.

Booked a single room for the night that was clean and comfortable and had a sink. Showers were hot and close by. The staff were really helpful in recommending route to town centre, which only takes 15-20 mins walk, and pubs to try. The next morning they even recommended places to visit when heard of my plans for the day. All in all, a nice hostel to stay at.

Great, clean room. Only problem was the lack of hot water. Internet access and breakfast option easy very good.

John is a great asset to the Courtbrack... made us very welcome after a very long day and was full of information, advise and a tale or two to entertain us.. will be back!

A lovely hostel, but too far away from activities unless you have a car. No bus service, so I had to take taxis when I wanted to go anywhere.

A part from the 20~25 minutes from the city center, Courtback is a very clean, safe and enjoyable place to stay on Limerick! Staff is excellent and helpful, they do their best to make you fill good and to help you having a good stay with them. Despite the official time for the checkout being early, they let me leave my luggage on the room up to 18h00 without any further fee.
