This was an AMAZING homestay! Wangchuck and his wife are so kind and helpful. Wangchuck will help you get to his homestay or will wait for you outside. He gave us advice on where to go in Darjeeling and even drew us a map or two! The couple was always willing to make tea and were so hospitable.

This place is great. Wangchuck is an excellent host - he even helped me book a trek in Sikkim. Highly recommended.

Wangchuck and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. They have a very cozy homestay, the name is spot on. Wangchuck is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to answer all of our questions. He always let us use his laptop whenever we asked. We loved the endless cups of tea and the hot water bottles at night to keep us warm. A good hearty breakfast can be provided (fried eggs, toast, jam, cream cheese and porridge) and is a great start to a cold day.

This is one of the best homestay we've encountered. Mr Wangchuck and his wife took care of us very well with his continuous flow of snacks, hot tea and hot water container during the night which was of immense help as my friend was down with flu and cough. We were overwhelmed with their hospitality and invitations and enjoyed the dinners cooked by Mrs Wangchuck specially for the occasion, Tibetan new year. Our tour of South/West Sikkim was well handled by Mr Wangchuck and the driver Mr Tenzing.

I REALLY hope you stay here! Wangchuck (the owner) opens his home to weary travelers and goes out his way to show excellent hospitality. He walked to the station to collect me, made tea every hour of the day, hand drew a map of Darjeeling, sorted out a last minute train ticket, unlimited use of his laptop and multi channel television, advised me on sights to see and places to eat at... I was treated like royalty in his home and I had an amazing 48 hours!!

Cozy Nest is the perfect place to stay in Darjeeling. With all the comforts of a homestay (tea in bed, hot water bottles, dvds), Wangchuck is the perfect host. He has lived in Darjeeling all his life and can help you organise anything you want to do (i.e. sightseeing, trekking, good places to eat). He will organise for you to get to and from Darjeeling so that there are no hassles.
