awesome location, free internet+washing machine, amazing view if you get the right room. Downside: security is POOR - doors do not lock automatically- we had someone come in while we were sleeping during the day and take a wallet and phone. It is impossible to lock doors if some people are in the room as there is only one key and people are coming and going. there is CC-TV but the footage is not recorded. be careful of your belongings and use the lockers! This hostel is in an excellent location - although the market square can be a little noisy if you want an early night. The staff were extremely helpfull, even translating questions into Polish for us. Lovely building, great facilities .. Excellent hostel, I 'd say may be the best option to stay in Cracow. Very well located, good breakfast, everything seemed to be new, nice rooms, clean, really nice and kind staff. It's always the staff and the travellers that make a hostel. The staff were good, but unfortunately the first night I was there, a fellow traveller left the bedroom door unlocked and somebody went through my bag and stole my coat. From then on the entry buzzer for the front door was used by the staff. A Scottish guy seems to reside there, I'm not too sure he's helping the hostel's cause as he is a little strange, but otherwise the hostel was great and in the best location in Krakow!It's always the staff and the travellers that make a hostel. If you are not a smoker do not come here as the enitre common area and Kitchen is the only place you can smoke so to cook or watch TV is nearly impossible without smoke in your face.
