The hostel furbishment is pretty old and would need a make over as its a bit too 80s. I didnt really like the atmosphere in the hostel because of that and the TV lounge area is not very nice as its right next to the dorms and it can get cold there. The common area doesnt have enough nice sitting possibilities.

Mediocore rooms, good rates, friendly staff, with a rock clibming wall available.

The facilities are are great, room is clean n staff are really friendly! Would definitely stay there again..

A nice hostel in a good location, worth a stay. Very cheap beer at happy hour 3$ when we were there. The cinema and climbing wall are nice touches. The bad side was that the room was smelly and the wifi was really slow for what we payed.

Had so much for the amount of money. Had a good vibe about the place. Been recommending it to all thos going to Rotorua :D

awesome hostel, so big!! staff VERY helpful with making bookings for touristy things to do, and they had awesome deals! room was spacious as well as the kitchen. good location and secure! high recommend!

We got a good deal on a rafting trip/ Hells Gate through the front desk! It was a little annoying to have to go through the security door to get in the rooms/kitchen. Overall good place to stay.

Decent hostel in a great location in Rotorua. The hostel was clean and the climbing wall was a nice touch. The dorm room was large and the bed was very comfortable!

Was very happy overall with the hostel, staff very helpful & really good craic. Unfortunately the room was not very clean and there were long black hairs all over the bed that we had to sleep in &all over the towels we were supposed to be able to use but couldn't :( Otherwise happy out with the place

Good Hostel. Cheap beer and Wine which was a lovely bonus. Excellent location and the staff were very helpful when booking all the activities we wanted. Would recommend to friends and family.

The dorm room we were allocated only had 1 spare bed but we were 2 people. We were quickly put into another room, no hassels and only took a minute Great work Team

Excellent hostel! Large rooms (private room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed), good kitchen, helpful staff, exclusive discounts on lots of Rotorua activities, and best of all, a 17m rock wall and cinema complex downstairs!

its an okey, hostel. have stayed in better. They dont change the cover on the bed. just the sheets

The kitchen is horrible and one fridge is not enough. Its not good that you cant use the pc's after closing reception! I really liked the high rooms and the lockers in the room.

A decently-located hostel with an interesting twist, having large windows looking in on the climbing wall, and the tea / coffee is a nice touch. Individual reading lights are also much appreciated, as are the large lockers. The only possible complaint would be that the windows don't open very much to facilitate a good room airing, so people back near the door find it a bit stuffy.

staff are excellent especially chris always willing to help facilities are good . free pool which is excellent, the games room dvd room could have a bigger tv but im nit picking overall had a great stay and would go back also the indoor climbing wall is fantastic its jus downstairs and it is 12 dollars for crank residents no time limit on the price so you can stay all day! or until your arms and legs survive!good deal on alcohol also cheapest beer in town unless you go to the off licence lol

Hostel had everything a simple traveler requires although it could potentially be so much better. The kitchen could be slightly better organised but apart from that, it was okay!
