Can't really complain about this place! Nice clean rooms, very friendly staff, and great location. Seemed a little cliquey but perhaps just the group who were in at the time and not to do with the hostel. Free breakfast was very welcome!! Would definitely stay again!

The kitchen was absolutely packed so I couldnt cook. The fridges where full too! No one was around when I checked out. The hallways were noisy at night. The breakfast consisted of two cereals just left on the side. Not a friendly vibe and too noisy and busy.

Great atmosphere and everybody got on with each other (despite the snoring bear in the bed below!). Great location too and easy to get to shops, beach and bike rental (go to Fish Bike just off beach).

Good breakfast, very clean, super nice staff

Strange hostel, kitchen and common room great, not enough showers or toilets, rooms ok, everything just needs updating. A lot of long termers, which isn't great when you are travelling on your own, weren't the most friendly. Ok experience but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Cool art deco hostel! Not the norm for hostels! Free WiFi wasn't working.

Great hostel with loads of character in a central location.

Barely slept when a bunch of guys repeatedly came in and out of the room between midnight and 2am. After that they put on a movie in the 8 bed dorm at 2am. Not the fault of the hostel, but certainly was no effort to prevent it. Otherwise it's a pretty classy building and the staff were very helpful to me. Would consider staying again but in a smaller dorm with less people.

Beautiful building close to the waterfront. Wifi needs to be purchased. The free city wifi does not work in the hostel. Two big common areas which are lovely. Rather loud.

Great location, near to the beach and right in the centre of town. Very accommodating when we arrived late due to our car breaking down. Free toast, spreads and tea for breakfast was much appreciated.

Only stayed there for one night but seemed to be a good hostel. Location was great and the rooms basic but clean.

Everything was brilliant except for the lack of parking! That made it quite tricky to come and go. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling by bus, and anyone who doesn't mind paying for parking.

I really enjoyed it there - right in the middle of town where I needed to be :-). No free wifi but everything worked that I used. Free breakfast was great!

Good place for the money, nice staff and perfect for cheap and cheerful stay.
