We came after the salar wanting comfort and hot showers, and were so comfortable we stayed for four days! But it is definitely much pricier than you can find in La Paz. Not a good place to meet people, but very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Super clean, nice breakfast with juice and eggs, etc, and super super nice staff! Best things were the hot hot showers and the radiators you could rent - perfect after a muddy death road adventure

The hotel was great. very clean, in a central location and very nice staff. Also great food in the restaurant. The only problem was the wi-fi (but this problem is common all around Bolivia). The atmosphere is more like hotel and not a hostel, but for us it was not a problem.

Lovely hostel. more like a good guest house. Beautiful murals - our room was very pretty. Comfortable bed, hot water, clean. Dining room and reasonable choice of meals. Staff very helpful and welcoming.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. good location to witchesmarket and city centre only 10 mins walk. was busy enough from people who didnt want to go to the party hostels so met a few people. still went to wild rover and had a blast but got to leave all the young ones spewing in their noisey dorms :)

Good location and great breakfast. Room was large and spacious - with a huge mural on one wall. More of a hotel than a hostel, not too much chance for meeting other people.

Cousy, calm and clean hostel with Good location. There is a common Space in the basement with a pool table wich is a plus. Still the feeling of the hostel was more like a hotel, not very social.

By far more than acceptable!. Very friendly and helpfull staff; close (2 blocks)to Sagarnaga street and San Francisco church. Hot water with high pressure is a plus that is hard to find in these kind of places. Clean enough with a nice-paceña deco wich is unique in every floor. If you may suffer the "sorochi" ill (altitude), then do not ask for rooms at 5th floor (only by stairs).

I have no idea what this hostel was like because when we arrived they didnt honour our reservation. We were told that there was a problem and the people who were in our room werent able to leave. They took us to a hotel which was the same price and very nice so we just stayed there instead. I did wonder why the people who were in our room werent able to move to the other hotel. But they couldnt explain as their English wasnt great and my Spanish is poor. The reception area looked ok.

The booking went off really smoothly. The owner, Julio Medina, gave me tips on which taxis to use and fair prices from the bus terminal. It all went south when I arrived at the hostel. The receptionist said it was fully booked. I assured her I made a reservation through this site. She paused for a moment, undoubtedly to think of an excuse, and said there were 'renovations' being made. An extremely poor excuse. Julio, it's your turn to provide an explanation. Please think carefully this time.

The staff was wonderful and helpful, but mostly, the breakfast was great, the best I had in Bolivia. Cereal, bread, fruits, yogurt, milk, tea, coffee, eggs, everything you wanted

One of the best hostels we stayed at in South America. Great staff who were really helpful. Stored our luggage for free, let us check in early and even walked down the street with us to hail a cab so we could get to the bus station. The ladies in the kitchen cooked some really nice food that wasn't on the menu without hesitation. Clean, spacious rooms, good showers, good wifi. Highly recommend.

Our room faced onto the street so was a bit noisy at night, and there were builders in next door in the morning too, but I'd still recommend this place. The staff were terrific when we had to go to an emergency medical centre and let us get cash from the hostal and put it on our room when no cash machines were working.

Good central hostal in La Paz close to the touristic attractions. clean and most of the time the shower is not cold. Breakfast is not that special but the basic continental food is provided.
