Asides from work, I arrived in Ghana to experience a different culture and way of life. The hostel's location is a bit out of the main commercial areas, but catching a tro-tro is part of the fun. The hostel itself is very safe, but one may feel differently when stepping outside, though I had not had any negative experiences. The hosts are lovely, really helpful, and the setting is really relaxed for meeting other travellers/volunteers.
