I loved to stay in Olga's place. I want to come back to Granada, just because of her wonderful cave-house! really awesome place and very interesting owner. p.s: felt like being home :)
The location is, well it depends on what you want. It's not easy to get up from town coz it's high up and you hv to sweat a bit, but the view is wonderful and it's very cool up there. (Though the cave is humid) Super nice owner who can make yummy soup and speak fluent English. If you really want the room that look most like a cave, choose private room. I had a very nice stay in the hostel.
This is truely the greatest place I have stayed at! Really cosy, with a great view over Granada, the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. Olga is lovely and it was a pleasure to get to know her kids and friends. Can't wait to get back to Cuevascoloras!
It is a family house , you just share coupleof rooms with them , the place is not easy to find and dogs are roaming every where around on their own, inside the house also their is a dog , no windows in the bed rooms , no wifi except for the family's living room , it was a total surprise to me , the only good thing was the wonderfull view from the roof of the building toward elhambra palace
We had an incredible experience with Olga at Cuevas Coloras. Olga was amazing: cooking the best brownies and happy to show us around. Her gorgeous cave house attracts like minded travelers who all form a happy family atmosphere. I can't speak highly enough about this place... I loved it!
