Excelent location, just 3 min walking from MTR station. Really cool hostel with an Asian touch and helpful staff. My special thanks to Sean, he was really welcoming and fluent English skills (something is not so common in Taiwan). Highly recommended!

The rooms here are small but well-equipped. Although the hostel is not in Central Taipei, the location is still great as it is located in the middle of a busy street with plenty of cheap eats available (Not just Chinese/Taiwanese but all kinds of Western and other Asian cuisines). Even if you do plan on going further afield, the MRT station is only a couple of minutes' walk away. The staff are helpful too and there is plenty of information on things to do in and around Taipei.

A cosy hostel which is strategically located near to the MRT station and it's just next to FamilyMart convenience store. The thing I like the most is the cleanliness of the hostel. There is also a little kitchen for you to do some simple food preparation. Thanks to Rebecca for her advise on the direction to some tourist spots. I will certainly recommend it to my friends.

Staying at Culture 22 isn't really like a hostel, its more like staying over a friend's place. Sean and Rebecca are really accomodating. It's a comfortable stay at an affordable price. The TVs (as of April 2013) haven't been installed yet but you don't need them anyway. You will need to climb stairs while staying here. Overall, a great location with great food around. I enjoyed staying here.

Clean but tiny rooms. Small kitchen with fridge, tea and coffee for guest use. Great area, close to a night market, metro station, banks and day market. Would definitely stay here again. Book ahead.

Rebeca was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean! Near the MRT. There are small food stores nearby which is very convenient. Mind you there's no window though if you wouldn't mind. The only issue is that when lodgers come back late at night there's no control over the banging of the front door and heavy foot steps up the stairs. It's ok to remind lodgers about this or some improvement on these will do. Also, a thicker pillow and the use of computer will do wonders!! Will return

It's a bit far from city center, but the hostel is just 3 minutes form the station, You have to change trains from Taipei station, but it's very easy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean. There's no living room, so it is quiet. I liked it. You'll find this hostel very comfortable.

Spent 2 nights in a private room, Did not feel like a hostel, more like a short stay at a friend's home. On arrival was met by friendly and helpful Shaun. The room was very comfortable its own shower and wc facilities en suite, its own small cooking area. Big HD TV with cable channel, free wi-fi, connection very reliable. Nice homely common area with a piano too-a nice touch. Bed was low down on floor but was very comfortable- good firm mattress. Great location and a very pleasant stay!
