Philip is a great staff member. Really friendly and knows all the great places to go. The hostel is very clean, you meet cleaning staff every morning working away. Breakfast choices are excellent and varied. Only 2 small negatives: The availability of utensils for guests in the kitchen could be better The wifi isn't great, due to slow connectivity we haf to go to internet cafe to book things.
This hostel is located in the city centre in a really nice house! Rooms are a bit small, but the beds are comfy and bathrooms are very clean! Breakfast is good and kitchen is also fine. Only half of the staff speaks English, which can be difficult at times. Down the street there are some nice bars with outside terrace to have a drink at night. However, there is a lack of atmosphere at the hostel, not a good place to meet new people for a backpacker!

Everything you need in a hostel with great staff in a great location.
An excellent hostel. Very comfortable bed, with clean linen. Good breakfast. Really kind staff. Good location.
Excellent place, lovely staff, miguel was genuine and very friendly, the owner helped me wtih my heave luggage, i was pleasantly shocked! It was a great experience overall.
Polite and friendly staff, very clean rooms and bathrooms and a great location. I loved.
I felt cramped staying on the top of the triple-bunk in the 9-bed dorm room. It felt that I had no space to spread out my stuff. I wish they'd have double bunks instead of triple ones. Aside from that, the breakfast is great. The owner is very helpful with any questions you may have. The location is in a great and lively part of the city.

Nice hostel with a good location in the old part of town. Lots of pubs/vafes nearby. Close to hop-on-hop-off bus.Not far from bus terminal and train station.Friendly staff, some of them speak some English. Free WiFi. Good breakfast. Rooms somewhat cramped. I had booked a 6-bed dorm but had to stay in a 9-bed dorm...
Unfortunately very empty and not recommendable for single travelers. Location makes up for it.
The location cannot be better. It is feel like more a hotel than a hostel but i cant complain. I definitely recommend it.
The hostel is located in a very nice old house. The capsulas ("single bedroom") are small but comfortable and the hostel on the whole is very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Recommended!
I really liked this hostel, One of the best I've stayed in. Decent rooms, good breakfast, great location.
The place is great but I feel it's very expensive !
Great location, great staff and it feels like a home.
I really appreciated the Curitiba Hostel because they have a very kind and friendly staff, the place is clean and the breakfast is very nice.

The women's bathroom has beautiful new fixtures that outshine a lot of hotels, and all the rooms have very high ceilings. The bunk beds have three levels, though, with very narrow rungs on the ladders that make climbing difficult and painful. I had trouble hoisting myself onto the middle bunk--I could never have made it to the top bunk! The staff was lovely and very pleasant--but it would have been more helpful if all receptionists spoke English.
