there was no heat in the whole place and I was totally frozen at night! the owner tried to explain why there was no heaten and told me to put some extra blanket...which was fine but the place was still very cold! Also, breakfast only lasts half an hour so you better be on time! Location is good, you can do lovely walks from there!

nice location friendly staff bargain breakfast no showers upstairs or near rooms would be better if another shower room was added upstairs.

We stayed overnight with a group of young boys playing rugby against North Wales. The Hostel was ideal and suited us perfectly. Many thanks to Jim, who is running the Hostel, for his patience and support. We would definitely return.

The building was wonderful. Very beautiful. However I would not go again in winter, the place never warmed up at all. It must have been barely above the outside temperature. I had to wear my very large jacket and ski cap the whole time. The receptionist was apologetic but the building is just too big and the central heating inadiquate.
