Just an overnight stop from El Nido before a flight to Manila. The Reception staff waited up past midnight for us and the room was great (2 beds, hot water, a/c, TV) once clarified that "twin" means 2 beds, not 1 x Queen size bed. Free airport transfer definitely made it worthwhile for us but, hard to tell if it was the staff or the neighbours making a tradtionally inconsiderate racket in the morning....
Nice hostel. The staff were very helpful in booking a tour of the Underground River. Clean rooms, and mosquito nets were provided despite the ridiculous number of mosquitoes. Food was okay.
Our room smelt musty upon entry, and the air con was excessively loud throughout the night. The property was isolated in its location and better value properties were found to be located close to ammenties in the town 'proper'. The food service was slow. The room prices displayed were cheaper than what we had paid through hostelworld, a first for us. Some credit must be given to the man at the front desk, who did try to be helpful.
