could be a great place to stay if the staff spoke at least a little bit of english. We had troubles to get our room because nobody knew about the booking. it was hard to communicate as noone understood english. still very nice location and nice bungalows, however the shared bathrooms are a little bit creepy. despite its a five minutes walk from the party-zone, its quite nosy at night.

We stayed in both the delux and basic rooms and actually had a more comfortable bed in the basic one and found the facilities in the delux room unneccessary. Save your money and go for the cheaper one :)

The bungalows are basic but charming and set in lovely grounds. There were 5 in our party, renting 4 bungalows in total, 2 of which the doors did not lock properly, hence security not good. The manager was very friendly and helpful when we told him. The mattresses are like sleeping on the ground (good for some!!) A nice quiet location with the most amazing views but a short distance from the action of the town.

Everything is a bit on the old side. But setting is great, the location is just fine; well away from the Zombie mob. Fred the manager speaks perfect English; the staffs [as usual for Laos] are very friendly.

We stayed over new year and it was extremely hard to sleep with the noise levels from the local clubs...literally loud music playing from 6pm-6am. The resort itself is beautiful in the day time and the swimming pool was an added bonus. However there was a lack of security box. If you can cope with the noise its a great place to stay as its clean and comfortable. If you dont want the breakfast you can negotiate a cheaper rate.

The bed is insanely hard, I've slept on softer floors before. There is so safe in the room and the television has no reception, which defeats the point of having one in the first place. The whole resort looks like it was once a nice venue but has sadly past its prime, which I believe should be reflected in the price. And at $32 a night it wasn't. I felt pretty ripped off when I left, glad I only booked 1 night. I really hate giving a poor review especially when the staff were friendly. Sorry.

A nice place to stay away from the craziness of the city centre. There was beautifully hot water and a nice breakfast included in the price. On the downside, the bed was quite hard and there were quite a few bugs in the bedroom and bathroom as you are staying in a bungalow. There was also no internet available, and there was not much information available concerning tours or things to do in town.

I booked a basic double room which was really nice. it was really quirky. the staff are really friendly. but it did take a little bit longer than usual to find the hotel. only other thing is that as it was a shared bathroom it wasnt nice to go in. also the walls are very thin. So it did get noisy although this wouldnt matter if your going tubing.

This place was great, staff were very friendly and the room was nice and clean. If you want somewhere to relax after a long day on the river then this is the place. Would defo come back here in the future.
