Pros: Near the Kinabalu Park (around 500m), Clean, Helpful staff, Cons: The rooms face the main road. It can get very noisy during the day, The bathroom is very small, No WiFi and poor 3G signal, Poor reception of TV channels, Unappetitizing breakfast, Gloomy room.

The only good thing about this lodge is it is close to the park. It is on the major highway, traffic noise was very very very loud, even at night! The room seemed to be trembling when constant trucks passing by. I could not sleep well for 2 nights when I stayed there. the owner, an older woman, was not friendly, never smiles. When I smile to her, she returned in a cold face. Her daughter was a little more friendly.

Close to kotakinabalu national park, lovely views from restaurant, good cooked breakfast, but dorm is very crowded with limited shower and toilet facilities if fully occupied

Great location with a beautiful view if you want to stay close to the nationalpark. Delicious food for a good price. Nice staff and sweet cats that belong to the lodge. :) Noisy during night as it is located at the main street.

Really nice view from the dining room, nice to sit and relax in there (especially after you've climbed the mountain!). You get a generous free breakfast every morning, people are nice, but the dorms are cold! Good location to walk to the park.

Nice views from outside eating area with friendly cats. Good breakfast!

Value for money for a reasonable size hostel reasonablely near to the Mt. KK National Park.. I like the countryside feel of the property.
