DC Lofty - Convention Center

We are a newly rebuilt (2012) boutique high-end hostel, situated in Downtown DC, next to Convention Center focused on providing you a great experience for your stay here in DC. Situated a few blocks from famous Dupont Circle and U street night live, as well as shopping centers, food and the metro.

Please be patient with us, as we await on our kitchen and continue to add small touches to make your experience more memorable. All of the big things, as well as the rooms have been finished for you convenience, and we will be only making additional awesome upgrades.

Our hours are from 10AM to 10PM. Check-ins outside of those hours are possible, but please contact us with exact time of arrival. Please do this at least 24 hours ahead of time, and your late check-in are not guaranteed unless explicitly approved by the management.

Policy -

Valid foreign/domestic passport or government ID required to Check-in, along with a valid credit card.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. (earliest 10AM; latest 10PM). ON SATURDAYS EARLIEST CHECK-IN TIME AT 3:00p.m. due to deep cleaning.
Checkout time is 11:00 a.m.
TAXES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL PRICE. THEY WILL BE ADDED UPON ARRIVAL(14.5%)

Mature, quiet guests are preferred.

We do everything we can do to preserve a tranquil atmosphere in our hostel. All of our guests must be over 18 years old.

Unfortunately, we do not usually accommodate seniors sixty five and over - however, it is case by case situation.

Also keep in mind that our bunk beds are designed for maximum weight of 250lbs. If you are over the limit you will stay on your own risk, and will be responsible and accountable for the consequences.

Smoking is NOT allowed in the room or in the common areas.
Evidence of smoking in the room or common areas will result in an additional charge of $500 will be billed to cover the additional cleaning for smoking in the room and loss of revenue. Any kind of open flames, including lit cigarettes or burning candles, are not allowed in the room.
Additional charges may also occur due to having other guests leave (harassment, etc) - it\'s a shared environment so please be considerate.
No (extreme) physical intimate behavior allowed;
No excessive drinking allowed.
No pets are allowed.

Cancellation and Payment Policy -

DC Lofty maintains a strict cancellation policy.
You must notify us at least 3 days prior to departure time (once you have checked in). Any days within 3 days will be subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellation of the day of Check-in will be charged the full nights stay. Please be courteous and inform us immediately of a cancellation or change in plans. Reservations that have not checked in, may make changes 24 ahead of check-in time with no fees. Group reservations policies listed on our web.

Upon arrival, full payment will be accepted in cash (USD)/travelers checks or credit cards VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER. We do not accept personal checks.
Group reservations (5 guests and more) will be charged 15% non-refundable deposit
