It is a nice place and the staff is very friendly. It is directly at the road, very close to Lake Kawaguchiko. It is quite some time away from the station though.

Great place and great staff.

I stayed three nights in DEN'S INN. It is a bit far from Kawaguschiko town, which can be an issue arriving, but in everyday live it shouldnt as there are bikes for free available, which is awesome! i went one day with the bike to fuji q highland and the next around two lakes nearby. the hostel also offers pick up service, buses are available, but not until late and taxis shouldnt be too expensive too. convinience stores are near by. the hostel is one of the cleanest i have ever stayed in!

This friendly hostel is a little out of the way of the action - but it's right on the lake shore, and the bus from Kawaguchiko station will bring you right there. They will also be happy to rent you a bike for free, which was really useful for us. Security - basically anyone could just walk in. There was no lock on the room door or hostel main door - and no lockers to store your valuables. It feels secure because it's Japan - but if you're worried about these things, take notice.

It's clean and quiet. Near the lake where you can spot mt Fuji from a distance. They have free bike which very handy for going around the town to compensate it's distance from most shops are. The staff is very friendly. Really enjoy my stay there and will stay there again when I am back in town.

Very nice new and well maintained hostel. It's on the northern side of Kawaguichiko which means it's a bit of a journey from the station. That's not a problem on a day to day basis as there are free bicycles available for use. The hostel facilities are all clean and there's a good atmosphere in the hostel with people doing the Mt Fuji climb and just enjoying the local area.

My friend and I stayed at Den's Inn for 3 nights as a base to climb mount Fuji. It's a lovely guest house right by the Kawaguchi lake and a short bus ride away to the kawaguchiko station which will take you to 5th station. The chap at reception was really helpful, gave us a lift to the local DIY store so we could buy equipment for the climb. You can use the kitchen in the evening. The dorms and the showers are very good. A great place to meet fellow climbers, Recommended!

Very clean

Absolutely incredible. The staff here goes out of their way to make this an enjoyable experience for guests and they do little things that you don't see at other hostels!

Great service, location and setting, we really enjoyed our stay at Den's Inn and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Once you want to go to Kawaguchiko, this is the perfect place to stay.

Stern staff, a bit pricey.

The stuff was super friendly and the hostel is right next to the nr.17 bus stop. The beds were ok, a bit hard. But all in all a very nice hostel. The Café they run is also pretty good.would dedinately stay there again. Ah yeah The best part is that its close to the lake with a spectacular view on mount fuji.

I booked Den's Inn because I was in Kawaguchiko to hike Mount Fuji. The staff and facilities are amazing and they'll go out of their way to help you with anything you need. The only knock would be its location because its a little ways from the main part of town and the bus stops running at around 6 PM unless you wanna hike a ways to the next bus route. Regardless of this I would highly recommend because it was a great experience and the friendliness of the staff is going to be hard to beat.

Good location even though the hostel is out of the city center in a quieter area. Bikes available! :) The English speaking staff was really helpful and picked us up from station with our luggage for 400 yen and then again next day as we spend too long in Fuji Q highland and there wasn't any buses anymore :D Rooms were clean and cozy and we could see Mt. Fuji from our balcony :) They are mixed, but it's not a problem as showers are private. Really nice hostel, thank you, we had great time! :)

This hostel is a perfect base for the Mount Fuji area. The hostess of the hostel is the best I have met so far. She is really great and helps with everything. Everything is extremely clean, you can lend very good bikes voor free, have good breakfast for 300 yen. Only goods words for this hostel! The only possible complaint could be that is a small hostel so hard to meet other people.

Security need , there no doors keys.

This was the nicest hostel on our trip through Japan. The owner is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great. It is a little bit out of the way from the train station, but connections are good and frequent. I wish we had booked it for a longer time. I felt slightly uncomfortable that we could not lock the room during absence, but nonetheless felt like a very safe place.

Very small but lovely. Right near the lake and great for quiet evenings. Staff was wonderful. Short bus ride around the lake to main tourist sites. Very good for quiet rest right after climbing Mt. Fuji! Great!

the location has really nice views and is easy accesable during the day. nevertheless after 7pm the shuttlebus stops and a cab ride from kawaguchiko can be quite expensive and there is no nightlife around the hostel at all. but mt fuji five lakes isnt the party region anyway
