One of the nicest looking hostel ever. The orange curtains really added a very nice touch to the look and feel. Clean overall but there are still trash/hairs below the beds. Too little power plugs though, and they are far from the beds. Breakfast has a good spread but is at a different building. Definitely worth staying.
It's more like a student dormitory. Internet was very spotty. Nothing really that special. Staff is really nice though! And decent location
The mattress was great. The staff is very helpful. 20min from the bus station(walking distance), very central. The shower was ok but could be better, excellent kitchen.
There was no bin in the room I was staying at which would have made the room cleaner I think, and the room was not cleaned during the days I stayed there. It wouldn't be necessary if there wasn't stuff on the floor from other travelers. The showers are great except for the door to give you a little privacy real doors that could get locked would be preferable but all else was good and the breakfast was excellent
Cool place but really quiet to be a hostel! It's a residence for students and the facilities are pretty good! Location is Ok due to Ljubljana is small and the breakfast is not too bad.
Good location, easy walk to all the main sites. All you can eat breakfast for an extra 2 euros is a good deal. This place has more of a hotel feel rather than a hostel feel, so it's not ideal for meeting people.
The guy w the dreads at front desk was extremely nice and helpful with my last minute late night check in, and telling me where to go eat dinner! Very informative! The hostel has amazing facilities w 2 kitchens on every floor and showers/toilets everywhere always free. Breakfast isn't the greatest but for 2€ it's fine! Would stay here again for sure.
No atmosphere, room overbooked, not worth the money.
The staff were great, the 2 euro breakfast was worth it and the location was sound. I would definitely stay here again or recommend this place to anyone.
Room looks like it hadn't been cleaned for example large cobwebs in the corners of the room.Bathroom looks like it really hadn't been cleaned! Breakfast is a different story..fruits looks bad (all peaches with black spots all over them, basically to the point of being rotten) yet served..some eggs were cracked yet served. Basically there was no quality control or care for the health and impression guests might have. It was cheap though.

The kitchen was poorly equiped and dirty. The bedrooms had a lot of mosquitos And people at the reception were very slow. The only good thing was breakfast, with a lot of food and a very cheap price (only 2€)
Arrived to be told that the private room of 4 we booked wasn't available. In return we were split into a 3 and a single. 10% discount in return but still not what was expected after hearin good things. Only one room key between the 3 and once after door was locked someone entered the room. Breakfast was a positive-€2 for a buffet. However the lack of social spaces make it hard for single travellers. Overall a poor experience. Must note it was not the front desk staff who were hopeless, was mgmt
This hostel is a weird experience..... But cool if you have a friend to stay with and are keen to chill in your own space. You are in a student dorm on a university campus, and if you're there during the summer break it is very very quiet.... The breakfast costs 2 euro but is amazing and so worth it!!!!! Scrambled and boiled eggs, so many breads, cereals, coffee, juice, fruit and veg. My favourite part of the hostel!
I loved the place, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed! It's not so close to the center of Ljubljiana, but it's like 15 minutes walking, it's worth it for the comfort and atmosphere of the hostel, the kind and helpful staff and the great breakfast for 2 euros.
Good stay, friendly stuff, amazing and cheap breakfast. Very close from the city centre. I would definitely recommended
Nice place to reside when exploring Ljubljana. The private triple room is good, large windows and the beds are okay. Sufficient showers and toilets which are clean and tidy.
Short stay but it was great!! Thank you so much :)
Thank you for providing the desk fan to my room mate upon request.
Our stay at DIC hostel was really comfortable and convenient, as it was close to the old city centre, and had good facilities. The only thing that was lacking in the hostel were the shower facilities, which were mixed, and had only saloon-style doors for privacy while showering. However, the remainder of the facilities were clean and modern, and the staff were really friendly! There is also the option of an excellent all you can eat breakfast for just €2, which was delicious, and great value.

Like what I would imagine a college dorm to be in its set up. Very spread out. Feels empty in parts. Social if you were already in a group. Not at all if you're traveling by yourself. No ac, so was incredibly stuffy on the top floor. Terrible beds. Actually checked out early to go to another hostel. Wish I had stayed at the other from the beginning. The only thing I'll give DIC is that it was reasonable.
