Dear stuff of DreamStory hostel, Thank you for the nice service, I've enjoyed my time in your hostel. However, I would like to make a few recommendations how you can improve on visitors' experience. - First, it would be nice if you'll give a visitor a key from the entry door. - It is a good idea to separate place for the administrator from the common area since some inconvenience occur when one want to watch TV while administrator try to node off. Otherwise, you do great! Regards Tim
Great staff, especialy girl Kristina and awesome location and value for money...
The sign for the hostel on the street is quite small, we missed it when we first walked past. The receptionist who checked us in was nice and explained the set up to us. The hostel seemed to be mostly Ukrainian long term stays which meant the atmosphere wasn't that great. But it was close to the metro station and buses. The walk to Maiden Square or any of the churches wasn't too long.
The main plus of this hostel, apart from the excellent location in terms of closeness to one of the central metro stations, was the relaxed atmosphere. It feels like hanging out in someone's private living room. However, if you don't speak Russian you might feel slightly excluded.
This hostel was NO ALCOHOL which wasn't made very clear on the description. Our room was great though and had air conditioning and location is brilliant, and it's fairly easy to go out in Kiev and meet people anyway so it didn't matter that there weren't many English speakers in the hostel. Communal area in the hostel is nice too.
