Good location. A little bit noisy as our room was near the street but not too bad as Lucca is not a large city. Generally clean facilities though not too many people when we were there.

L'unico inconveniente è che la grande stanza da 5 affacciata su via Elisa è rumorosa a causa dell'intenso traffico. Per il resto ottimo

We was really satisfied with the hostel but there was only one thing what we missed there - free parking places next to hostel.

We were sent an email requesting that we ensure that we arrive prior to 3pm or call in advance to warn reception. However, when we arrived at 2pm there was a note on the door saying that reception was closed until after 3pm. This was incredibly frustrating as we had ensured to be at the hostel prior to 3pm and so were then forced to walk around the city with all of our bags. To make matters worse, the entire city closed down until 4pm for siesta. Bathrooms lacked proper drainage after showering.

Definitely a dated hotel but clean and good for a short trip. Comfy beds too!

Though located on the opposite side of Lucca from the bus stop and a moderate walk from the train station, this hotel actually provided great access to Lucca's main sights without being compromised by security or noise. We booked the family room which was spacious and very comfortable. Though the bathrooms were a bit less than desirable, the staff was very understanding and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean with a very nice atmosphere and a lot of character. I would only recommend to advice visitors that the reception opening hours are limited during the winter period and that they should arrive at the time the state in the booking form in order to be sure they find the reception open!
