Shared mixed dorm, did not stay the night. Other than the climb up to 4th and 5th levels, pretty sufficient accommodation - close proximity to attractions, not far away from main train stations. Excellent WiFi but ask for password before you head up. Ample clean showers and toilets. For longer stay, request for a lower bunk; unless you want to break your neck climbing up and down the unstable bunk, or get scolded by unsympathetic bonker below for almost falling off and balancing.
Very good situated and very good atmosphere. The staff it's correct (good attention, but for exemple they don't have maps) but the best help are the rusian travellers who stay in the hostel, really good people. Cleanliness it's not bad but it's not extraordinary, maybe it seems a bit older than what you can see in the photos. Anyway, a very good option in Moscow for price and atmosphere. I'll be back if I come to Moscow again.
if the bunk beds were a little more stabil would be great. and if the sheets didnt have stains would also be nice, also if the reception were open during the morning so that we could ask questions and get tips about moscow.

The staff were very friendly, but not very knowledgeable...no free maps, when I asked about things to do they just said 'google it'. No atmosphere, lots of the other people there are locals, the prices are so reasonable they are long term residents (6 months +). They have a rule about no alcohol but it's not observed. The price includes towel and bedding, I must say the softest sheets I've ever slept on.
