The owner is super really nice and hospitality which is easily for someone could take advantage easily.. The food is good. Even though, the location isn't that good however, The owner would give very good advice and helpful to manage transportation and recommendation to go around, i found it easy with her help to manage my trip to Bromo mountain in one day. However, the weather is not good in the rainny season.

IS LOCATED BTWEEN AIRPORT AND TOWN-CENTER. iS OK ONCE YOU KNOW HOW TO TAKE LOCAL TRANSPORT. IS SPECIAL GOOD FOR BUDGET TRAVELLER. Owner very friendly and helpful.

More a homestay than a hostel. With only 6 bed dorms. We stayed here for one night only, so can't say much - but we enjoyed it. Place was clean, mattresses were a little worn out and aircon/fan could not cool us down. Lady who owns/runs it was nice and we got a good cooked breakfast included!

Wonderful hostel perfect for a night while transiting through Surabaya. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, even sewing up the shoulder strap on my bag. The rooms and bathroom are very clean and the wifi (available only near reception) was good. The location, relatively near the airport, will be great for some and inconvenient for others.

Your home, when you are away from home! Great Staff and convenient accommodation. Good to hang out a bit and relax from traveling! Free food and Drink here! Staff is extraordinarily awesome! It's perfectly located (close the bus terminal and the airport). You don't want to see the city anyway, trust me...

Great accommodation, so many good things to say about this place. Breakfast was included, and was amazing every day. The staff made sure I had everything I needed, from mosquito repellent to doing my laundry. Room and bedding was clean, the wi-fi access was good and everyone was friendly. Really great, friendly place - I settled in just fine, and didn't want to leave!

Da Rifi is probably the best hostel you can find in Indonesia! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the place is calm and relaxing and you'll find good food, internet and laundry services. Rooms are clean, so are the bathrooms. Bring a mosquito repellent though (which is helpful everywhere in Indonesia).

We felt like home at Da Rifi, not only the character but also the staff who were always happy to serve you. Even though it was quite far from the city, we felt secured and relax due to the quiet surrounding. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to soothe you from your trip. Thank you Da Rifi for a warm welcome and nice stay.

I had a great stay at Da Rifi. The staff their really treat you like family and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Its a bit far from the city center (and Surabaya public transport is quite archaic) but it is very close to the airport - so the location has its ups and downs. I would definitely come back to Da Rifi on my next visit to Surabaya
