staying across the road in a mini apartment for $6 a night, you get all the perks of the resort, pool, sauna gym etc, but its so cheap!!! the staff are so helpful and nice, there was a real genuine feeling. they wanted to help, not rip you off. diving with the red sea relax resort dive shop (part of dahab dorms) was incredibly affordable and they helped us with a trip to thistlegorn which was cheaper than anything we found online from dahab or sharm. 100%! many thanks to Chris and Said and Osama
This was my third time staying here and the service was excellent as usual. I've backpacked a lot and these are by far the best dorms I've stayed in, with excellent staff taking caring of you.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Red Sea Relax Resort. The friendly and helpful people working here made it a very pleasant experience. The staff, especially Osama, assisted with everything: travel arrangements, tour and activity booking, helpful tips on what to do and where to eat. Perfect! Adjacent dive center is great value for money, too and staying at the dorms is free when diving. Plus, access to a gym and a very good breakfast included. Come here despite any travel alerts - you'll love it.
Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and access to all the facilities of the hotel! Would definitely recommend this place :)

For the hostel price this places was very good. The included breakfast was a self-service buffet than ensured you would not start the day wanting for food, and it was located centrally to all of the restaurants, shops and beaches. For those choosing to dive with the Red Sea Relax Dive Center, dorm accommodation was free for any day that you were doing a course or diving with them, and the prices at the dive center were also unbeatable. Highly recommend!

This is most definitely the best place to stay in Dahab. It is so close to the beach and the facilities are excellent. The dorms are also a great way to meet new people. The staff, particularly Saeed and Abdullah, were a fantastic help and ensured that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The Red Sea Relax diving centre is also excellent and you get a free nights stay if you dive with them.
AMAZING value, great staff and interesting + friendly guests. Facilities are top notch, Dahab is awesome and the diving centre seems to be professional, is good value and has cool staff. Said and Osama are very welcoming from the moment you arrive and are always there to help. Breakfast is a MASSIVE buffet of hot and cold dishes. You can even order up some pancakes, omelettes etc included in the price! I liked it so much that I made a reservation for a second stay already, and for much longer
An amazing place to stay in Dahab. The Dorms are really a flat across from the hotel with two four person dorms. En suite kitchen, bathroom, and common area. Close walk to beach and promenade. Best part is dorm guests get to use the resort facilities pool, gym, free breakfast, etc. Also there is no charge for the room if you scuba dive with the resports dive club (which I highly recommend)
I love this Hotel! I will come back many times... Is beatiful!
Good place to stay, especially if diving with Red Sea Relax.
The best dorms I've ever had! It's literally an apartment with all the resort facilities. If you have great flatmates on top of it, you can only love the place!
I think this is the best place to stay in Dahab for a solo traveller. It's basically a self contained apartment that they've made in to some dorms. It's behind the main resort but about 1 minute from the waterfront and best of all you can use all the hostel facilities like the awesome breakfast and the pool. It's nice and clean and airconditioned. I like it so much i stayed for a whole month and made some awesome friends while was there.
I went for the cheap dorm, so the bed was a bit soft for my taste- but even that was value for money as it was very cheap... and I got an apartment with a decent bathroom. Osama the receptionist was first class, and before you could say Yalla, he had arranged my kitesurfing lessons, my trip to the Blue Hole for snorkelling and the hike up Mt Sinai. He really went out of his way in every respect - true hospitality. Good location too!
Note that the hostel is for diving, and therefore is next to the sea and a 10 minute/7 dinar taxi ride from the city centre. The nearest ATM is a 15/20 minute walk away. Stayed one night. Door was jammed badly, and there was no door in front of the ensuite which was annoying - only a sheet, which fell down. Food was good - the salads were excellent.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location right next to Lighthouse Snorkling, and good restaurants. The rooftop bar is a great way to relax at the end of the day. The bathroom, could use a shower curtain/ door etc. And we were woken by the mosque 'call to prayer', which was a suprise on the first evening. Maybe a pre warning would be good.
The hotel offers a good all round package including both dorms and rooms, pool area, nice indoor bar, rooftop bar with a great view of the bay and a breakfast with free coffee, tea and water. The SCUBA school located at the front of the hotel and i think a discount on the rooms are offered when booking dive packages. I booked into the dorms which were good value at £4 a night but decided to have a look around Dahab and found alternative accommodation for less and my own room. The male dorms hav
Mostly great, has the best facilities of any hostel I've stayed in as you are staying in a larger resort, staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is fantastic. Not so great were the bugs (which survived the dorm being fumigated) and the atmosphere which was a little more expat/package holiday than traditional backpacker hostel. Overall great place though, especially at the price.
I love this hostel. The staff was super friendly. The dorms were clean. The dive centre attached is first class. I planned a couple of days, stayed for two weeks. Best breakfast I've had in a hostel. Yes, there's the odd bug--its the tropics folks. No bed-bugs, no ants, no worries. And as for Egypt, just go. You'll be so glad you did.
