Clean, simple hotel in a good location. Staff was friendly and helpful, giving us a map and recommending sights and restaurants etc. Our room was big and the beds had mosquito nets, which was great. Our bus to Nha Trang left late the day we checked out and they let us hang around at the hotel waiting and let use use the shower etc. Overall a pleasant stay, though not the best on our trip in Vietnam.

Sadly I had ants in my hostel and it was a little bit smelly because there were no windows to the fresh air. But the hostel itself is really nice! And I was maybe just unlucky. Really nice and safe environment and staff. A nice city as well, not touristic but really nice to meet some locals.

The clocks have stopped and so has the maintenance and cleaning of this once nice building. The rooms are big, and have a weird arrangement of two double beds, one rock hard, one very soft, both damp. The bathrooms have mold growing in the corners and the showers are rubbish. There is also a serious ant infestation. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the location is pretty good but the building needs some work.

An average hostel, have to walk 5 minutes to the Ancient Town, There is a foreigner operated store nearby selling good banhmi, sandwiches, water, yogurt and others. Eating meals are not a problem because there are many restaurants opposites the hostel. I am having dinner at Sunshine restaurant at Tran Cao Van Street nearby with is very delicious and good service. For 1 day trip, please ask around for good price and Sinh Cafe is more expensive compare with other tourist agencies.

While the staff were lovely this is poor value for money. For an extra $10 go book a hotel off booking.com or agoda. The mattress was hard, the room was quite dingy and it was generally hard to relax in the room. Granted it does advertise itself as a hotel but there lacked personality or ability to meet & converse with fellow travellers.

Nice staff, we enjoyed our stay. We had a nice small balcony heading to the street. Tv programs was good. Like most other Hostels in this category, there were mildew in several corners. Location was a 5 minute walk to the city center. 2 minutes away was a nice bar with friendly staff and good prices. We would recommend this hostel :)

This hostel was great. It was clean, big rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The thing is, there is what seems to be a funeral home directly next to it, and Vietnamese funerals go on for four days. This means BLASTED mourning music from 7am until 10pm. Nobody there seemed phased by it, which makes me believe that it was a funeral home and not just a one-time event.

We had a nice stay in Hoi An at the Dai Long hostel. The room was very spacious and was clean for the most part, though one of the towels that was maybe supposed to be a bath mat was a bit moldy. We liked that we were only a short walk from the main downtown area, but were still far enough away to not be disturbed by the heavy foot traffic. The front desk lady wasn't terribly warm at first, but grew on us during our stay and was very helpful overall. A pleasant stay for the price.

Free pick up was much appreciated. First night was in a room next to the reception, which was very noisy. However, we were moved upstairs the day after. The beds here were really hard and uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and helped us with a tour to My Son. Needed my sleeping bag as it was a bit chilly and no blankets provided. Showers were hot and bathrooms were clean, if a little worn.

Nice clean room, very friendly staff, and a good location. I also got the pick up from the Da Nang train station, very good as well.

We were able to get better accommodations for less money at a nearby hotel after staying for two nights at Dai Long.

Rooms fairly clean, bathrooms were a bit dirty. Receptionist not very willing to help with bus ticket, future bookings at next place, printing off information off internet etc etc. One minute the staff very helpful the next minute quite unapproachable.

To my mind the big problem with this hostel is the cleanliness. We didn't get sheets, only a blanket which was really disgusting.

Place was fine - clean, cheap, and had everything that I needed as a single traveller. Location was great and easy enough to get around town by foot.
