Very good place to stay. Nice and homey. I enjoyed the hotel very much. Great place if you have a lady with you. Maybe boring if you're alone. Best location possible for sightseeing. Great price for what you get.

Fantastic traditional Ryokan, friendly staff, free internet and perfect location. Make sure you read the rules of a Ryokan first though!

A very nice place to stay. Two old folks help run the place and are very friendly and helpful, even if you can't communicate with them. I'd stay here again if i went back to the area. Only problem is the cleanliness. Restrooms are clean. Bathroom is fairly clean. Sink had snails crawl around it on one occasion.

The rooms are quite large for only $45--I was very surprised. If you`re stopping through Takaoka, this is definitely the place to stay.
