Talk about making one feel at home and welcome -amazing. This guy is just the best. Some people are just different from others - and he is one of them. There is just nothing he wont do for his guests. There is NO other choice in Caracas!!!

I had a high level of expectations because auf 96 % Level of satisfaction, but it was worth the stay. We had a lot of fun, but they (Gustavo and his wife) are also very helpful. It was great to be there.

This is such a heartwarming place to stay! We only stayed one night, but we got a very good impression about Caracas. The staff of the hostel were two loving people who did their best for us to have an awesome time, and we did! We were treated like royalty :)

Best place to stay in downtown Caracas. Just 100 meters to metro station and nearby historic places of the city. Clean and confortable rooms and common space with a nice TV and lots of movies. Special chapter for the owners Gustavo and Brenda...will make you feel like staying at your best friend\'s place looking after you in every aspect of your stay there. Will also give you a free cell phone with local SIM card to use. Great hostesses! Best breakfast (it\'s like a full lunch) I\'ve ever had!

Gus and his wife will make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. I really enjoyed staying with them and they treat you more as part of the family rather then a guest. Really great hostal, plenty of entertainment and a clean and very friendly atmosphere. Would 100% recommend staying with them, I dont think you will find better anywhere...and they have the most amazing dog! Viva Dal Bo!

The staff was absolutely amazing, feeling like being hosted by his own family makes it definitely worth it paying a higher price for this special hostel! Thank you so much and best wishes from the two German guys!

An amazing stay. Dal Bo is not a typical hostel, it's a chance to meet a couple of lovely Venezuelan people (and their dog Keisy) and stay in their home. Most of Caracas is prohibitively expensive, so this is a perfect place for backpackers as it's relatively cheap and in a central location. Gustavo and Brenda are great hosts, they went out of their way to find a safe place for me to park my motorbike and generally ensure I had a good time. A brilliant and unique experience!

Dal Bo Hostal is great! Its kind of a guest house/hostel, and the owner, Gus, Is such a nice guy! He will go out of his way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I was telling him how I had been robbed and no longer had a camera, he goes off and returns 5 minutes later with a digital camera, telling me its mine if I want it!! That is entirely unheard of! I couldnt accept such a gift, but he genuinely wanted to give it to me! A very generous gent indeed!

Pros: clean bathroom and dorm, good hot shower, many doors and security box, good breakfast, good TV, helpful staff, even offered me a mobile with local sim card, towels and sheets are changed daily. Cons: pretty expensive when compared to other hostels around the world, however it is the only option in town if u are travelling on a budget. The area, city center, is quite strange at night. A cleaner kitchen would be nice. I would reduce the number of people in the dorm (7) as it is small.

I have never given these ratings before, but this is a very special place! Please expect a few bumps in the road when you visit Venezuela, the most enigmatic destination you will ever visit! Your host will unlock the key to this most beautiful country and may I suggest that he will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. The location is central and very secure. This is the gateway to paradise in a country with so many problems. Angel Falls no problem. Thank you, We will always remember

-ve points: extremely tight thin walls $33 is definitely overpriced Loud music @ 7am and 2am! owner lacks hostel managing knowledge-expects 100% occupancy, it’s more like staying at someone’s place rather than a hostel, so u need to bear many things Breakfast-not fresh & not clean utensils (frying pan) +ve points: Location providing a mobile to reach hostel owner anytime Clean sheets & towels everyday Bathroom was ok owner providing maps for Caracas
