we stayed here a couple of weeks back for ten days, the owner gustavo is amazing he helps you out so much with your stay in caracas and his dog kacey is so cute! the place is his apartment really, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing, the breakfast is amazing pretty much keeps you going all day! a must place to stay if your visiting caracas 10/10
This is an amazing, phenomenal, fantastic, communist hostel! Guests live in an apartment with a young host named Gustavo and his charming wife (awaiting baby) ... and smart dog (unfortunately did not have time to learn their names). Gustavo is so kind, sensitive, attentive and responsive (aka - the chef, cleaner, guide, counselor, etc.) that do not feel that at home, but also embarrassed by this.
Perfectly friendly owner Gustavo helped us in organisation of our time in Venezuela. He did everything to book immediately our excursion to Salto Angelo, led us safely through Caracas. No matter what you want he can do this. Very good location in the safe city center.

This Hostel was very helpful all the time we needed something. The breakfast was amazing thank you so much please go and stay there on your vist to Venezuela.
Gustavo is totally friendly and helpful. The hostel is basically his apartment (along with his very nice wife Brenda & really cool dog Keisy), so they do mostly hang out in their own bedroom, but Gustavo will help you w/ just about anything you need when he's around. He gives you maps, he'll come out to meet you if you show up in a taxi, he'll give you honest thoughts on what to do and what not to do...basically a huge help to settling into the experience that is Caracas. Close to the Metro too!
Aside from the beer, water, coffee and sometimes even the rum and coke for free, here by Gustavo is to breathe the air of your own home! His sympathy, professional and welcoming at the highest levels, it is natural and gives this place an empathy that is rarely encountered elsewhere. On Christmas Eve, being the only guest, invited me to dine with them and friends, as if I did always part of the family ... Gustavo extraordinary!
