The Dali Hump is full of potential. it is inside the old city, in a quite place but not far away from the heart of things. it has great wall paintings all over and the room we stayed in was very nice. BUT the managment is very bad. they understand english but don\'t understand manners. from constant knocking on the door for the wierdest things to having to wait an hour and a half at the lobby for checking in because the room wasn\'t clean yet, the staff of the Dali Hump proved it could actually spoil a good

We (two adults and three children) stayed for two nights in Dali hump . The accommodation is great, spacious and clean rooms. The Dali Hump is especially a place for artists and musicians. So at the evening there can be some noise of (poor) musicians. The staff (speaks poor english) were friendly but not very accurate. Nevertheless, we liked our stay because it was a relax atmosphere in the courtyard at daytime. Definitely value for money.

Very nice hostel great ambience. It was difficult to arrange tours, due the language barrier. No BBQ anymore on Wednesday, no Wed. tours. Also, extremely loud until 2-3am often and the walls are very thin. I always like a party, but sometimes difficult when you want to get up early for a hike or bike ride. The website needs to be updated, because it says there is yoga and kungfu available and also that bbq\'s and musicians stay free.

I don't recommend the Dali Hump, staff were completely unhelpful. They couldn't tell me where the hostel was located or how to get there. Only 1 staff spoke English, and they were unwilling to help even in booking tours they advertised, simply telling me to call places myself. The only benefit was being located inside of the city wall.
