Definetly good place although a bit far away fro city fun, so if you want to stay around night life in Dali pick another one. Located just few steps away from Three Pagodas Temple, it took me 15 min walking to get to the city - not so far away. Over all I have good experience with staff, who is very friendly and helpfull. Good value for money.

This hostel is a drive from the Old City; however the 3 Pagodas Hostel will gladly take you into and out of the city for free in one of their vans. It's quiet and staff is working on improving their English. Biggest complaint would be dogs barking at all hours of the night and a sweltering dorm rooms with no fans and a little window to let air in. We slept one night with the doors wide open. Luckily we upgraded to one of their nicer rooms with larger windows.
