The manager is a great guy. He went into a great deal to talk to me about the city and woke up before opening time to let me in. This was all in Chinese as his English was basic.

Really chilled out hostel with an awesome dog just outside the busy streets of the city, but still close enough to walk in to get food or catch a bus anywhere. Dorms were clean, but we saw that our used bed sheets were folded and returned to the clean linen pile without being washed once we checked out. Only having 2 showers for the entire hostel made it difficult to get any hot water. Lack of toilet paper and charging to use the air con seemed stingy, but overall, we had a really good stay.
Short bus ride and walk from Train Station to hostel, quiet area, good location. Usual Chinese-type of Hostel, no toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms and people can smoke in the entryway. There is not always English speaking staff there, but the owner is helpful and friendly. I found it like a usual hostel in China, however if I couldn't speak a little Chinese it could have been difficult.
A nice place with nice staff, clean beds and bathrooms. A bit far from the center, but taking the bus is only 1 yuan.
This is a one-man hostel, where the owner is everything. He is the one who cleans the toilets, fix the internet or give you advice. The "Boss" is nice and friendly, but he has a lot of restrictions and fees on usage of kitchen, washing machine etc. There are two vital suggestions for the boss: 1. Learn some English! 2. Improve the ventilation of the septic tanks! Wish you a good stay!
