'every drop of water counts' is a YHA mantra, and i call myself eco-conscious, but this hostel's owner seems to be too money-minded - he lurks around the washbasins all the time just to switch off a running tap! was brushing my teeth and left water running to get it warm (winter time) and he just turned off the tap. and this happened to another dorm-mate! small heater in dorm has to be switched off during the day, and permanently set to medium. kitchen use not allowed in winter and TV 'broken'?!

The staff were really nice. I stayed over the Chinese New Year holiday and they prepeare a "jiao zi" feast to celebrate. However, it was very cold in the communal areas.

They moved us to another dorm (8 bed) which we did not book. The heating was down but one small heater in the dorm. The whole hostel was freezing cold. The Staff girl at the front desk was awesome though!

We book the place,but we decided not to stay there, because they didn't have a room we booked and they didn't really care about having us stay there.They guy working there at that moment was not helpfull at all.
