This is a great hostel, it's really easy to get to from the airport and just as easy to get into downtown Dallas using the TRE or the bus. Carlos is probably one of the most helpful people I've ever come across too, he'll help you out as best as he can with anything. I really hope I can go back sometime.

hostel is actually a house with 4 large bedrooms converted 2 dorms. The communal area is great. family kitchen, living room area. Dart board, free internet, garden with chairs. Upon arrival there is a phone on porch 2ring owner who lives nearby. all the hostel guests make u feel @home & welcome u before ivan the owner comes. The owner & carlos his friend are really nice people who help out in anyway. carlos is a texan local resident & toke us out to a restaurant each day & toke us 2gun range! :)

good hostel overall, met some great people. location only average, not much within walking distance. Downtown dallas is 15min on train and station is 5min walk away. would stay again, you can do all your laundry for just a dollar

Nice place to stay, homely feel to the hostel. Ivan is very friendly and helpful. About 15 mins on the train to Downtown Dallas and about 45 to Fort Worth. Good kitchen and a big supermarket close by.

is was a great hostel. The set up just works, common room with kitchen, lounge and tv all in one is great for meeting people but still not intrusive. Ivan who works there is fantastic gives plenty of local information. fee computer and tv to use free of charge. Location is only 5 mins from train but you need to check train times as they are only every hour or so. bernadette ireland

I've stayed here several times this year during my visits to Dallas, and would stay again. The lounge and kitchen area are great for meeting other travelers, and the rooms are quiet for sleeping. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about things to do in Dallas and Fort Worth. There's even a backyard for hanging out outside, a convenience store across the street, and it's within walking distance of some eating places.

After staying in a miserable hotel-like hostel in Chicago this was just what I needed. It's in a suburb of Dallas so it's quiet with a nice garden yet it's close to the train station so you can easily get to Dallas or Fort Worth. If you book here ring Ivan on your way as there are no staff stationed at the hostel. Ivan's great, a mine of information and a good laugh. And get him to show you how to stop the plastic covered mattresses being so noisy. There's an art to it!
