The hostel was ok - staff were good, rooms were clean and the price was fair. Major problem was that the hostel is miles away from downtown Dallas - is 45 minutes on the bus - and I didnt feel particularly save getting the night bus so didnt do a lot in the evenings. Not the hostels fault, but if I went to Dallas again I would pay more and stay in a cheap hotel in the downtown area.

I think this hostel is fantastic. I came to dallas at night and was all alone and couldnt find the hotel from the bus stop, Martin the hostel manager not only picked me up that late but also arranged everything for me. He even let me use his internet and gave me great tips for traveling in Dallas. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Dallas, especially as a young woman traveling alone I had the best experience ever in Dallas Texas Hostel of all the Texas hostels I stayed in.

This is a nice place, a little bit far from downtown, but very close to Lovefield Airport.
The highlight is they are just some yards from the Bachman Lake Park. The Lake is pretty nice, just great to walk around in the morning or at sunset.
Bachman Place -the apartment- is really like the typical American Motel kind. But most people live there. So that is a peaceful place.
They get a swimming pool, not too big. But really useful in HOT Dallas.

Slightly dodgy mexican neighbourhood, I wouldn't recommend a female go walking alone around there but the conditions were exceptional, VERY clean and well worth the price, really close to public transport too.

The best hostel I've stayed in so far. Really friendly people, good location and much more comfortable than usual for hostels. The hostel room is actually double floor apartment with it's own well equiped kitchen, batchroom, TV, stereo and even a fireplace.

The maintance man checked me in and he was very polite and helpful. The hostel is more of a motel room and has full kitchen, tv, ensuit and loft. Very good value for money and great staff.
