Thanks to all of the staff of Damajuana! I spend my best days in Mendoza here in this hostel! It’s an excellent place to meet other travelers with the right vibe, great pool, Ping-Pong table and the best thing: THE best all-you-can-eat-BBQ of Mendoza! The staff is really helpful, they gave me really good tips for tours (Bikes and Wines is a MUST-DO!) and they even helped me with booking my next busticket! Thanks Damajuana, for sure we are meeting again soon!

We had a good stay at Damajuana, we stayed for 4 nights including a free one due to a good promotion. The staff were very kind and helpful, booking our bus for us and advising on other things. The main drawbacks however were that the aircon in our room leaked a lot of water, the downstairs toilet was blocked all of our stay and the rooms were fairly basic. If you could get the outside 8 person dorms i would because the toilets are nicer and the rooms more recently refurbished.

It's a very nice hostel with a lot of activities. It's located in a best zone of Mendoza City and it has an excellent team of work. My best days in Argentina were in that hostel!.

Amazing outdoor area with big pool and huge grassy area + tables. Good indoor hangout area too. Found the rooms to be substandard and noisy. For the love of god avoid the 12-bed dorm. Barely got any sleep in there, even when I was drunk. Its incredibly noisy and light bursts through the windows to ensure you wake up well before you're ready too

Overall our stay was just very average - the 8 bed dorm is pretty much connected to another 8 bed dorm so can be annoying if you have noisy neighbours, also it's in the garden next to the pool and drinking area. There are only two bathrooms for both of the dorms and they aren't cleaned frequently enough. Wifi was often down for the whole day so very frustrating when trying to book things. Some staff were unhelpful (not all though) with information and with dealing with problem people.

Awesome staff, nice pool, great location. Bbq was good fun with free wine! Definitely would stay there again. Only the 12 bed dorm was towards the street. So it was noisy but if you like to go to bed late, not even that is a problem. They also book your next bus for free and help you with tours. Thanks damajuana!!!

This is defiantly a party hoste, so there is.constantly loud music playing in the communal areas and people are up late. However the staff and guests were v friendly, it was just a shame was very jet lagged and need sleep when i was there. If i was in the mood to.drink and party it would have been perfect. The pool and outside area is very nice, but the rooms are cramped and basic and the kitchen and bathrooms.are cramped and quite dirty.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. the garden & pool is just amazing for some lazy days and & or just meeting some nice other travellers. i stayed in a wonderful 6-bed-dorm with hugh bathroom & lockers (like a closet). the breakfast was served, nice to just sit down and enjoy the service. the hostel is located in the restaurants- and bararea, so its nice for going out at night, its the nicer part of the city. walking to the busstation takes like 20-25 minutes. check out the big park

Nice place, but disorganised, not cleaned enough, and difficulties trying to leave as they had not tracked payments correctly...

All was great, apart from the rooms were just far too hot. Really need to sort out the AC.

THEY NEED TO INVEST TO KEEP THE HOSTEL IN A GOOD STATE: MATTRES AND SOFAS WERE RUINED, SHEETS WERE OLD, NOT ENOUGH AIR CONDITIONING IN THE BEDROOMS SO IT WAS VERY HOT TO SLEEP THERE, THERE WEREN'T ENOUGH PLATES AND FORKS, ETC IN THE KITCHEN TO EAT FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE, BREAKFAST SHOULD BE SERVED UNTIL 11,30 'CAUSE IF YOU WENT OUT THE PREVIOUS NIGHT YOU WOULD MISS IT. THE STAFF WERE LOVELY AND ATTENTIVE THOUGH...

The staff was fun and helpful, which really made the experience great. There was a big asado when I stayed and I was really impressed by the quantity, quality, and distribution of the food. I met so many wonderful people at this hostel and it was nice that there was a pool to cool off in the hot summer days! There was a mix up with my vineyard tour booking (I got lost), and the staff was incredibly understanding about it and refunded my money, even trying to book something else for me.

We had a great time in Mendoza with a great group of people in this hostel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only advice is try not to stay in the basement. There are better dorms upstairs so don't go for 10 bed dorm. Downstairs is dark and cold water wasn't working there when we stayed. Location/staff/atmosphere made up for it with a great common area inside and outside.

Staff was awesome, very nice and helpful. The Kitchen though is not really well equiped. Lockers are huge. Mattress was quite thin and not very comfy:/ All in all a nice Hostel with a good location.
