Staff were very friendly and helpful with booking tours, buses, activities around the town. The rooms out the back can be a bit noisy if people are hanging out and the rooms can also be quite hot of a night time too. Good location, pool and backyard big plus, free wine nights and bbq's also a hit.

The hostel was great value for money it was very beautiful . The swimming pool and the activities were excellent . We could book bus tickets from the hostel at the same price as the bus station .. The only down thing was that some of the staff were not of great help but the overall experience was excellent and the dorms were comfortable especially the en suites

Is Damajuana a Hostel or small Luxury Hotel?! This place is definitely high class, and it shows the moment you walk in.. full bar and restaurant, the building alone is classy.. Very nice pool, and the staff is amazing!

I stayed here 7 years earlier and it´s still one of my favourite hostels in SA. Guilberto was especially helpful, when we arrived they were full so he phoned around to other hostels and found somewhere for us to stay for the first night. Cool, laid back, good vibe and good crew.
