I was incredibly impressed with my stay at Damajuana. The location is great. The backyard/pool were wonderful. Make sure you don't miss the asado! I will definitely be returning to Damajuana

Amazing communal areas, pool, garden and BBQs (beautiful food, endless wine and they really make it a fun night)! Tour desk and most staff are excellent (a few really went out of their way to help us and were friendly and welcoming). Downsides are: dorm 7 is a windowless room in the basement. We booked a female dorm and there were guys in the room every night. Security is a bit on/off - sometimes front door is open and the dorms don't have room keys (just lockers). But overall it's great!

We had a nice stay at this hostel. Just a couple things that brought it down. Whilst there was security at the front our room was open to the rest of the hostel and we weren't provided with a key to lock it. When we asked a staff member to help us make a phone call to someone in Spanish he refused because the company we were calling weren't affiliated with the hostel. Lastly the wifi only worked in the front half of the hostel.

People from the hostel are not as helpfull as others I've been to, neither as nice. There's a loud music that is played all day long, even when people wants to sleep in the afternoon.

Nice spot on the main road, near restaurants and bars. Staff were friendly, although the kitchen was a bit grubby and you had to search for cooking utensils. One knife in the whole place! Pool wasn't too clean. Do not stay in the basement room, at the back right hand side of the corridor if you want sleep! The nightclub adjoins this room, so we were awake til 4am listening to dance music and the scraping of tables and chairs as they packed up for the night,

Staff were very friendly and helpful with booking tours, buses, activities around the town. The rooms out the back can be a bit noisy if people are hanging out and the rooms can also be quite hot of a night time too. Good location, pool and backyard big plus, free wine nights and bbq's also a hit.

The hostel was great value for money it was very beautiful . The swimming pool and the activities were excellent . We could book bus tickets from the hostel at the same price as the bus station .. The only down thing was that some of the staff were not of great help but the overall experience was excellent and the dorms were comfortable especially the en suites

Is Damajuana a Hostel or small Luxury Hotel?! This place is definitely high class, and it shows the moment you walk in.. full bar and restaurant, the building alone is classy.. Very nice pool, and the staff is amazing!
