Very charming hotel in a very beautiful old village. Sulleiman, and his staff are flexible and nice. It's now a lot of times we go there and one of our favorite place in Jordan.

Rooms need to be cleaned daily. A shower curtain would do wonders. Toilet dustbin needs a lid. Food was fantastic.

Like probably most hotels in this small Dana village, Dana hotel is quiet expensive . The bathrooms are not really comfortable and clean, don*t plan to shower there. The rooms are really simple but quiet ok. The atmosphere is really nice with Jordanian food for dinner (5JD extra) and Bedouin music in the majlis. The location is good because it is near to the visitor center. Attention, you have to pay the whole price again although you paid 10% in advance via Hostelworld!

We had a hire car, so getting to Dana hotel was easy. It was good fun staying here! For the money, don't expect luxury, but do expect a warm welcome and a good time. We used it as a base for a days hiking in Dana Reserve and it met our needs well. We travel with lightweight sleeping bags which came in very useful. Dinner is a simple buffet style with more than enough food. The other local hotel also does food and you are free to choose where to eat.

Great character stone houses, simple rooms, great host, only problems was that sheets and blankets were very dusty and the pillows were quite hard, did not exactly make for a good night's sleep
