Staff is great here! The set up of the dorm rooms means you make fast friends if traveling by yourself. Highly recommend. Great location.

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed at. Andrew and Eddie are more like friends than managers and go out of their way to take care of everybody and make sure everyone's having a good time. The hostel is so close to everything you will ever need and if you're there during the full moon period you're in for an amazing time because these guys organise the best pre-parties. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and can't wait to go back again! I came alone and left with some great friends.

Best hostel I've stayed in! Eddie and Sid are the two managers and they are really friendly, good fun and always there to help! Great for meeting people, clean, spacious rooms! Great for the full moon, only a minute walk to the beach! You also great lots of discount at local shops and restaurants for staying at this hostel! Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Slept in the 19 bed dorm. Met loads of people and had a great time. Would definitely recommend to the solo traveller. Staff are awesome.

Legendary!! Best place to stay on kho phangnan!! The staff are amazing, the place is awesome and everyone knows everyone!! The warm up parties there are also incredible and definitely get you in a party mood!! Met some amazing people there!! They were branded "by Fernando" whoop whoop

dancing elephant is the best place to be for full moon! I'm a lone traveller but instantly got talking to the energetic staff and the cool people staying at the hostel, and the staff are there to answer any call you may have! The hostel hosts street parties as warm up nights before the full moon... They are so good, people from most nearby hostels come along!! Stay here if you're looking for a good party and a time to remember- stay here, you will not be disappointed, a real community feel!

Amazing hostel! Friendly staff, clean, great for meeting people, excellent for the full moon parties! The host lots of warm up street parties which attract a lot of people not only from this hostel but others so there is always a lot of people to go and have fun with! Security is great, safety boxes and free water! The two mangers are great as well, always helpful! 100% recommend!

Thank you guys, I had an amazing stay, if I could I would've stayed longer. I already recommended the hostel to everyone who is planning to go to Koh Phangan. So now, to everyone who is checking out the reviews, I think you made your choice, this is the place to be! The atmosphere is excellent and even if you're worried about getting enough sleep, don't hesitate, you can get your sleep here as well!

Dancing Elephant was really cool! It almost got the whole package - the only thing which was missing were some more toilets, that's all. All the paintings and colours were so freaking fantastic, it made it feel like your were at you own room back home.

It's a party hostel all the way! Great place to meet people. Even though it's a 19 or 40 bed dorm room, it doesn't feel crowded. Had an amazing time there and would definitely stay there again!

Awesome! Loved it there! It's like everybody in the hostel is one big group, and we all went partying or to the beach together all the time! If you are traveling alone, this is where you should go! It's the place to be anyways!! 2 min walk to the haad rin beach, where the parties are at night. In the morning it gets cleaned up and turns into a beautiful beach to relax! I was planning to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 5! Honestly: go there!

Brilliant place to stay! Loved every moment, Andrew was wicked, organizing events and answering all our questions. Great fun. Had a real community feel, a great place to meet people in a chilled out atmosphere,before heading on to more intense places. I would definitely stay here again. Cheers, Georgie

Easily the best place to stay on Koh Phangan during Full Moon. Have been to a few full moon parties and the atmosphere is miles better than any other hostel on the Island.

the best hostel in thailand, hands down! i had the best time ever at this hostel, they definitely made full moon the best experience possible. friendly, fun and safe too. staff were wikid , sooo friendly and arranged loads of stuff to do in the day and night. thank you sooooo much dancing elephants ...andrew is the best :D cannot praise this place enough. met some amazing people and made some awesome memories. keep doing what your doing! recommended ! hopefully see you all again! xx mc xx

Great atmosphere - stayed in the 40 dorm and it didn't seem that crowded. The room had disco lights and was cool and dark, perfect to retreat to with a hangover!

stayed here 5 days during fullmoon party. had the best time ever and this hostel is actually the best one i stayed in so far. great location, helpful staff, clean rooms (stayed in the 19 bed dorm) party every every night outside the hostel on the street with the best atmosphere ever. very good hostel if you're traveling alone., met so many amazing and crazy people!! its def a party hostel, but thats what fullmoon is all about! highly recommend it, and would absolutely stay here next time to!!!

This is the party hostel. If your a hard core raver that can drink all night and sleep in a 40 bed dorm then go for it...If not then stay away.
