Great great great hostel! David is fantastic, LISTEN TO HIS ADVICE! Otherwise you will probably go to the hospital due to burns, mopeds, glass wounds, etc. This hostel really helped make the Full Moon party fantastic. Highly recommended.

I liked the staff a lot, they were really friendly and made me feel at home. The place was overall really clean.

there is no better place to stay in kho phangan, it's really lively hostel where everybody wants to have fun and make friends, specially for the full moon party...David, the french owner and his nice family are really helpfull and friendly, he always does his best to make u feel at home, about security, i have to say that i didnt even have to use my locker, i left every day my staff on my bed, laptop, money, wallet, camara, etc and i never had problems with that, it is the place to be!

Had a great time at full moon with David and all the dancing elephant staff, its a great place to get to know people before the full moon party and David is really helpful and looks after you lie probably no one else on the island

Very nice hosts and a very nice place. The thing that I had the biggest problem (that wasn't even that big) was the lighting in the dorm. Shifting lights of shady colours gave the dorm a little weird atmosphere.

One of my favourite hostels by far. The family that own it are amazing and have our security and best interests at heart. For eg and Iphone was lost and my safe key, yet they kept it safe for us and went out of their way to make sure it was returned to us. Great atmosphere, great people and I strongly reommend this hostel if you want to make the most of your experience here. I was very sad to leave the Dancing Elephant and the crew there!! :(

Had so much fun staying here and great location in the middle of haadrin so 5 min walk to the fullmoon! meet some great ppl in the dorm and the owner is really nice and consernd of your fun time! would recomend this place to everyone! cheers

great spot to spend the full moon week, plenty of like-minded individuals in the big dorms, good pre-party outside, the staff are lovely and david the owner has loads of useful advice and tips. 5 night minimum unfortunately (i would have liked to have gotten away elsewhere on the island to chill out a bit) but then so has everywhere else. a chill-out area/reading room would be nice, but for party shenanigans you can't really go wrong. nice food too, and all the sports available on the tv, bonus

After travelling for 16 months this is by far one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. David and Nanda make u feel at home it makes it hard to leave.

David and his wife are probably the nicest hostel owners I've ever met! As well as her brother and sister who work there too. Great hostel! Definitely recommend.

This was a great hostel. David and his wife could not have been more helpful. Me and my stuff always felt secure. The main door was locked at night and only a worker (who was always around) could open it. I met loads of great people staying there so definitely a sociable place to hang over. I would come stay here again if I was traveling alone. It's near to all the amenities and the beach.

Was a great location for the Full Moon party, just don't leave your shoes outside, they will be stolen! Otherwise, staff was fabulous, clean rooms and decent bed, and loads of fun people!
