A really nice hostel, but it felt pretty sterile. Most of the other hostel guests seemed to be living/staying here for a long time. A lot of families were staying here too, so definitely not a party hostel. But very clean, a pretty good location. Room set-up was a bit frustrating, only one bathroom for 3 rooms (maybe 9-10 people?).

too expensive as a hostel.

Lovely hostel, will definitely stay there again. It is much more like a hotel than a hostel, with quiet hallways and no loud parties or messes. We stayed in a four bedroom private room with a washroom and it was very comfortable, clean and safe. Great breakfast (not included in room cost). Also, factor in the extra cost of paying for a temp HI card, and paying for linens. Still a great value in a great location right by the train station and pedestrianized shopping street

Decent hostel - not much action in the bar area so not really that sociable. I would use this more for convenience than anything else as really near the main station and it is situated on the riverside which is nice. Good value for CPH.

The hostel and care of the receptionists were great men, until a woman rude, stupid, uneducated, in Athens without any patience. Her name is Hanna and she can not work in a hostel for tourists if it has no esrutura for it.

Hostel is good, staff was helpful concerning our doubts, the room was ok, the beds were ok. the shower is very good aswell. And you're like 10 minutes walking from the central Copenhagen train station, really close to many bars/clubs/pubs etc..

This was an excellent hostel due to location and how clean it was, very safe what with the lockers in the rooms, staff are great aswell overall. I read alot of reviews about this hostel before i arrived, mostly about the so called 'hidden fees', The extra fees are clearly on the booking form and on the website you dumb asses, learn to read before you start bringing a place down for your own stupidity. great place, ignore these other dicks. Our room wasnt cleaned at all throughout the 3 day stay. With 4 people using one bathroom, it would have been nice to have a clean bathroom at least every other day. Other than that, the hostel was ideal, thanks for a good stay.

Good hostel, a bit expensive and there isn't a whole lot to do in Copenhagen, but all in all a good choice.

a bunch of teens there,,,drinking in the rooms, regardlessly whether there are people trying to sleep or not after 11PM! The stuff can be much more friendly and helpful. The WIFI sucked!

Danhostel has a good location and thus attracted us for our stay there. Unfortunately we were disappointed on several occasions. There is a number of small additional fees that ruin your mood, e.g. some membership fee without which you cannot stay there (35 kr. per day per person!). Renting a hairdrier requires an investment of 100 kr for deposit and you get 20 back. Leaving your luggage at the hostel for the day costs 20 kr. Overall, I would not recommend the hostel to my friends.

If you are on budget, that is not a place I would advise to stay in. Read carefully about all the extras you have to pay when staying in this hostel, that adds quite a bit to the price.

Considering that there were many people passing through this large hostel , the staff were natural, warm, friendly and helpful. I felt that the cleaners could have been more thorough on the 8th floor where I stayed.

Staff was really friendly and location was good, right next to Tivoli. Cleanliness was OK, but tubing at sink was broken, and wasn't made after asking. In this way we couldn't use the sink whole weekend. BIke rent was not good. We couldn't reserve any bikes, and two bikes broke down at first half an hour. (really bad quality). No help with finding replacement bikes. Which was very hard!!

Good hostel with a big guest kitchen and bar. Nice and close to both the train station and the city centre. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm, which was warm, comfortable and spacious, with lockers (be warned that you have to bring your own padlock or pay to rent one) and a clean, well-equipped bathroom. The sheer size of the place makes it quite impersonal and the staff are not very friendly, but there is a bar and a kitchen where you can meet people and it is very convenient for the city centre.
