Only stayed one night, but I found the hostel well located and with a friendly place. Is a quite big hostel, more like an hotel, but the bar at the entrance level as good to hang out! Can recommend.

No kitchen. Hidden charges for bedding and obligatory YHA membership added an extra 95kr to my bill. Boring part of town.

They charge 60Kroner for linen and you need a membership. A rip off! The bathrooms were also dirt, and so were the rest of the toilets in the entire hostel. All in all I wouldn't recommend it. Rather stay at the other Danshostel or Generator. Cheers

I was staying in a 6 bed mixed dorm. Location of the Danhostel is great, right next to a busy intersection and close to Tivoli and central station - as centrally located as it gets! The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's even possible to rent a lock for the lockers in the rooms, so you don't end up leaving your luggage unsecured if you don't bring one. However, the drains of the shower and the wash basin seem to be clogged a lot. Also, the bathrooms could be much cleaner.

A large hostel in a not that interesting area. However it is a great location since its very close to many things in central Copenhagen.

Location is critical. Close to railway station. Close to the sights of Copenhagen. Easy to find hostel. Very distinctive building. Good breakfast.

The hostel is in a good location, a bit far from the metro but within walking distance to many sites. It´s a very large hostel, it has a bar and free wifi throughout. The rooms were ok, I was in a 6 mixed dorm ensuite, but it had only 4 lockers, so if you arrive after everyone...You have to pay for the bed linen and the prices on their site is only for members of HI. Copenhagen is expensive like the rest of Scandinavia and the hostel price reflects that. but overall I had a good experience.

When I appeared at check in they asked me to pay 50% more that it was in my email from hostelworld. You have to have a membership card and you have to pay a lot for linen. I did not notice that on the website when I was booking. I wanted to check my email for these rules, but receptionist refused to give me access to a computer connected to internet. Also wifi was not working even at the lobby. I was pissed off with this hostel and went to another one.

I don't recommend this hostel! Very, very dirty! Nobody cleans the rooms at all. The twin beds are too small, so there's not enough space to sit on the bed. Staff not helpful. Very big hostel and no atmosphere to meet others travelers. Good location though.

There are many additional charges not included in the price quoted on Hostel World. For example 60 DKK for bed lining (which is compulsory if you don't have your own) and storage fee after check-out (20 DKK per person). This sort of ruins our mood for travelling. Besides, the check in time is 2pm which causes a huge amount of luggages stored in the tiny storage room. You won't be possible to get your things out again once you've stored them. Despite, the view from the window is great .

Quite a hostel. By far the biggest one I have ever stayed at! :) But this doesnt take anything away from high standards at all. Very clean and well run with good facilities. Has even good ties with walking tour/pub crawl group which takes care of the fun both day and night time :)

The only good thing about this hostel is the location. Apart from that, you have to pay for EVERYTHING!!!!! if you are not member of International Hostelling you have to pay. If you don´t have bed linen, PAY! If you want to storage you laugage after check-out... guess what: you have to pay!!!! Bathrooms were not clean at all. Try to find another hostel...

Perfect for us. Close enough to walk to everything of note in the city. And easy to get to the airport. If I came back I'd go here again.

I think that it would be not necessary to pay for the luggage deposit. It schould be in the facilities included.
